About
The MiniPolis is not a playhouse, rather an interactive and creative city for children: a real and lifelike environment tailored for children, where “adult” things and services, which are otherwise unavailable for them are , can be tried (they may be customers or sellers in a supermarket, doctors in a clinic, hair-dressers in a beauty saloon) it means: “ a place where you can be adult, too”.

The idea is really lovely, kids love role playing and here they can try many different jobs, act like adults. Some places are more elaborate than others, but our 2 and 7-year old had a fun time for about 2 hours. They could have gone on longer, but as it is with these places we (the parents) have our limits as well. :))

We were there in the summer break, a weekday afternoon about 4-6 pm and it was jam packed. I think (especially covid times) they could sell tickets for certain time slots and limit the number of children so everyone could try everything they want without the frustration of waiting for ever.

Everyone was nice and helpful, but I thought the animators have a bigger role than just punching your card (tracking what you have visited, in order to get some sweets in the end). Some of them were more active than others and I understand it could be an exhausting job with the screaming children, but some instructions here and there would have been helpful. As it happened in the bank area for example (the young lady talked to them a lot, showed stuff, fixed stuff, etc.) that therefor became my son’s favorite spot.

Don’t count on eating there, we only found donuts.

We visited on a rainy Wednesday in February and ended up staying for hours. My 8 year old loved it! She really enjoyed trying out all the careers with help from the wonderful people who worked there. They did a great job speaking English and German with us and went out of their way to make it a really fun visit. Our daughter's favourite part was picking songs and singing and dancing on stage. Even though there weren't many other kids around that day she was surrounded by fantastic staff members who sang and danced with her. She's still talking about it. Big thanks to everyone at Minipolisz for turning a rainy day into such a memorable experience.

Great experience with the kids, they enjoyed it very much (ages 8, 6 and 1 year and 10 months), the only negative thing was that it was very crowded.

Hard to organize a bday party at Minipolisz if you do not talking Hungarian! In all cases - if you manage to book the date be prepared to receive support for ordering pizza and bday cake. No animation, poor English. The gifts for the kids were sugar lilipops (!) . The place itself is amazing and the kids really enjoy spending 3 hours playing around :)

Took our Grandchildren (who live in Budapest) here for a day out. It was amazing. Lots of different areas set up for the children to play - Aldi supermarket, Dentist, Pizza Restaurant, Florist, Tram and Hotel to name just a few.
Everything was well organised and very much hands on.
Entry was very reasonable but the best thing is there was not time limit on our visit so you could be there fro open to close if you wanted to.
There is a coffee shop but we didn't use it,
Well worth a visit if you're visiting Budapest with kids

This is a great place to spend few hours with young kids on rainy day at the center of Budapest. The place is big and offers a lot of attractions for the kid like shopping in the supermarket, sell pizza, sing or dance on the stage and many more. My kid loved to go there for several time during our vacation. The place is clean and friendly and most of the stuff know English. Highly recommended!

Great fun to play together in the different areas (shops, orchard, kitchen, pizzeria, hotel, even a jail, etc)! We visited on a Sunday morning, it was busy but not uncomfortably busy; the kids didn’t have to wait too long to have their turn, there was always an area that was available. Definitely recommended!

Went there with my 5 year old and baby. My son had lots of fun pretending to be a policeman, fireman, mechanic, vet, dentist, cashier and lots more. Price wasn’t too bad and we spent there a few good hours.
