Best e-bike tour

What an amazing e-bike tour my daughter and I had this last week with our hugely knowledgable and lovely tour guide. We hadn’t ridden e-bikes before, but Steve ensured we were kept safe and that we experienced a real flavour of Buda and Pest. We biked at least 25 km and saw so much and learnt a huge amount about Hungary and this beautiful city. I would wholeheartedly recommend this tour and this company, a great way to get a real feel for the city, Bridget

An absolute MUST !!!!

This 3hr bike tour was excellent! Young Andy, our guide, was both knowledgeable and humorous! He kept us thoroughly entertained with his dead-pan humour on the multiple stops we made. We are so glad to have gone on this tour! THANK YOU, ANDY!!!!

Great tour, very recommended

I called 25 min before the tour and it was confirmed immediately - other operators did not even reply. In addition I was the only participant on Andy’s tour so it was a private tour. It is cheaper than other 3,5 hours tours starting at 10 am so highly recommended. This is the tour you can rely on during these covid-19 times !

Very well designed tour and the bikes are new and well maintained. I can only recommend it.

David, our guide was also very friendly and ha a lot of knowledge about the city and the story of all the places we visited. The trip took a little bit more than expected because our little group asked many questions and he was always keen to help us and clarify our doubts. He also recommended us restaurants and bars 😉

Excellent bike tour

We booked this last minute as it was December and cold. Istvan(Stephen) was an excellent guide and gave us such good information on history of the country/city. Most of biking is flat but you need the ebike to get up to the castle in Buda. Very comprehensive tour of city- we saw everything in 3.5 hours. Both sides of river from city park/heroes sq over to the castle in Buda. Nice crisp weather. Coat and gloves essential. Really great way of orienting yourself in this beautiful city. Highly recommend the tour!!! Friendly, knowledgeable and good value.

Great bike tour

Great bike tour. I did the E-bike tour and it was a great way to get up castle hill. The guide was well informed and stopped whenever I wanted to take pictures. I highly recommend Best Bike Tours Budapest. And our guide spoke English well.

Friendly bicycle folks

We rented two bikes for 24 hrs. The employees were super friendly and helpful. They even told us where we could buy a cheap pair of shoes for our later caving adventure. So, don't be afraid to ask questions- they are very knowledgeable about the area and courteous.
The bikes were in pristine condition. Use your gears well and you will have an amazing time riding around the bicycle-friendly city of Budapest.

Great way to see the city

Great option to explore Budapest by bike. Tour wasn’t available on the day I choose but was able to hire bike anyway and do self guided tour using their route. Very manageable and fun.
January was cold so schedule plenty of stops for coffee/cake and lunch to warm up. (Wear lots of layers particularly hands legs and feet!)
Good recommendation for lunch at Angelika restaurant near castle (on their map)

Great way to see Budapest

Great way to see a large amount of the city and important sites while learning along the way. Our family had a great time on the 3 hour tour. We saw places we would never have known about had we not taken this tour.

We had a perfect bike ride this morning. Everything run smoothly . Andy was a perfect guide and leader. We learnt a lot about this country's history, culture and mood of people. What a wonderful way to get to know the city, the people , the country ! Many thanks .
