The Little Princess Statue is just as it's name describes, a true to life size statue of a little princess. It is located on promenade walk. It is well lit at night and a great photo oppourtunity.

Budapest is a city with many beautiful bronze statues. Having been to Hungary many times, this is the one that has been my favourite and beside which I’ve had my photo taken on over ten of my Budapest visits. I was surprised to learn that...More

Lots of statues potted around Budapest, this one is cute and has a great backdrop. Spend a couple minutes and enjoy the view.

The Little Princess Statue is cute and prominently located on the Pest side of the Danube Promenade. I don’t know the background and need to ask someone in the know. Buda Castle for a backdrop adds to the charm.

Statue created by László Marton (1925–2008) ispired by his daugther who often played wearing a princess costume and crown made by newspaper. Very lovely statue with a wonderful view of the Buda castle!

Our guide told us the lovely story behind this seated bronze figure. The artist who created the Princess figure, only had one son, so he dressed him up as a girl! This is why the face, and stance, appear to be that of a boy!!!...More

Passed this little statue on our way along the Danube towards the Chain Bridge - lovely statue with an impressive background of the Buda castle. Plenty of tourists taking photos with the statue.
