I rented a motorcycle (BMW R1200GS) for 3 days. All my experience: service, quality of the motorcycle, communication was excellent. After returning the motorcycle the mechanic gave me a lift to the train station and I took train back to Budapest. Credit card accepted for deposit and payment.

I strongly recommend to people who love motorcycles and value good service and quality.

I've rented bikes many times in different countries and hands down, this bike rental service takes the cake. The team speaks fluent English, are very friendly and helpful, and their bikes are top notch. We took the 650 and 1200 GS BMWs - truely perfect condition. The bikes they offer are like new and very well taken care of. If you're serious about biking and want to have a great experience while in Hungary, rent from these guys and see the country. You will not be disappointed. Ilya, New York.

We came from AUSTRALIA to tour around a bit in the in Europe, and had 4 BMW-s for 14 days.
From the initial contact (e-mail to Moto24) to the finish - when we handed the bikes back, we had the best experience. The guys, Erik & Zoli were fantastic. Very helpful, and supportive. The bikes were doing around 4500km in two weeks, without any problem. We not too often flying 2 x 22hours for a bike ride, but this was worth it!!!
Very BIG THANK YOU Moto24!!!!
We hope to do it again sometimes!!!!

I rented a BMW R1200GS from this company and prepaid for the rental in advance. The day of the rental, before I could get there I received an email stating that my rental had been cancelled because I did not arrive in time. Mind you, the rental was for 10am and the email stating that it was cancelled was at 1200. I would understand this except the rental was prepaid so they were not losing money and the office hours are till 7pm. After calling and asking them not to cancel...which they refused...we asked if we could rent the bike for the same length of time and were told that we could. So after booking the bike and receiving a confirmation and my card being charged, we cancelled our hotel at our next stop and paid for an extra night in the hotel we were in so that we could take advantage of the rental. Within minutes of changing our travel plans to accommodate not being able to get the bike till the next day, I received yet another email stating that my rental was cancelled. When I asked why, I was told it was because there was no one in the office the next day either to rent it to us. So now we are stuck in budapest for three days without the bike we came here to rent in the first place. I would give this place 0 stars if that were an option on here. Lastly, I gave the company an option to address my concerns prior to leaving this review and as a courtesy advised them that I would be leaving them a negative review due to this encounter.

After shopping around with 3 other premium bike rental companies in Budapest, I rented a R1200GS from Moto24. http://moto24.hu/

Their service and bike quality was better than the other guys. They had 2 english speakers, delivered and picked up the bike from my hotel, and had a Zumo GPS with awesome ride routes already programmed in. I have rented bikes in Thailand, Turkey, and Spain, and this was the best service I had ever gotten.

The bike was in great shape with crash-guards, big windwhield, LED foglights, heated grips, top case, lock and chain, and extra helmet (for cute hungarian passengers ;) The bikes have street focused tires on on them, so don't plan on riding any mud roads (though gravel and dirt are managable.) However, the street tires were pretty sticky on the twisties. Plus, a huge tricked out BMW in Budapest was one-of-a-kind, chicks loved it :P

If you rent with them, I'd recommend email or phone before you arrive in Hungary to coordinate an airport or hotel pickup/drop-off. Coordinate your security deposit in advance with a credit card, so you don't have to withdraw 800 euro from a bank. The deposit sucks, but no real good way to insure a rental bike in Hungary, and they do give you the deposit back with no drama.

They only have 650cc-1200 cc BMW bikes, no mopeds or scooters.

Also, bring a rainsuit, Hungary can get cold and rainy.

I rented an r1200gs adventure, along with all of its kit, full boxes, a great BMW gps, COMPLETE high end riding gear in my size, and a really nice BMW helmet, and got my pick of brand new high quality dirt or road tires for the trip, all of this for 90 dollars a day!! Erick even graciously picked me up from the bus stop in erd, I cannot recommend him enough, incredibly nice and understanding guy, and my trip was amazing!!! He recommended and installed routes in my GPS, one of which took me north and through Slovakia on highway #2 I think and I was truly wonderful. I am determined to return to Budapest and rent a BMW from Erick again.

A friend and I rented two bikes from Erik and Zoltan to explore north western Hungary for a weekend of riding and were fantastically happy with the experience and their amazing service. The BMW 1200RT and the Yamaha cruiser were in excellent condition and had no problems. The fact that Erik and Zoltan were prepared to pick us up from the airport and to return us there after our trip was an amazing plus. The fact that they also included all the gear in the price was also great.

One small example of their service: when we arrived it was pouring down rain and we needed to ride into Budapest to find our AirBNB apartment. Erik volunteered to lead us to the place. It was typical of him going above and beyond without us even having to ask. The next time I want to ride anywhere close to Hungary (like within 500km!) I'm renting from them!!

Ever since the first response via email from Erik at Moto24 I knew that these guys were professionals. Everything turned out as advertised, and they provide a very good and personal service. We, 4 guys from Iceland, rented 4 bikes for 10 days and toured the Balkans and beyond. We had a blast, the bikes were good, and we look forward to using Moto24 services again. I would recommend Moto24 to anyone.

This has got to be the best business I have ever had any interaction with, I was nervous about renting a bike in Hungary and wasn't sure about the reliability of Moto24. However, all of my concerns were immediately assuaged when I arrived at the shop and started dealing with Erick. Erick(the owner) and his secretary(wife) made sure that the r1200gs I was renting was spec'd EXACTLY to my liking, down to tires and suspension preload. and they provided incredibly high quality riding gear free of charge. After taking the M1 to Bratislava and back and having the best ride of my life, the Hungarian bank was having trouble issuing my refund. Erick answered every single one of my calls and texts on the first wring and bent over backwards to make sure It was going through and that I knew everything that was going on.
If you are considering renting a motorcycle on your European trip, stop considering, call erick, and enjoy the ride of your life. IT WAS EVEN CHEAP!!!!
