Rocking on the Danube

This place. MY GOD THIS PLACE. Not only is this place super cheap, I mean cheaper then Burger King for the delicious meal I ate today, it is outstanding. Absolutely amazing food. Also with the food being amazing it was also on a boat which I think is damn right awesome. My one complaint I have with this place it... More

This is a a docked ship on the Danube with superb views of Budapest. In the hold is a music venue which totally rocks. Literally! If the house is jumpin' you can actually feel the boat bounce. It has a wide range of music genre. It is definitely a locals fav. Very friendly, cheap drinks. Be prepared to get down... More

Went to see a band here and ended up enjoying the DJ on the upper deck even more. It's a great venue to go see a band but there's also a great bar on the deck above with a DJ playing oil late so after (and in our case before and during) the gig you can keep the party going.... More

I went to see a rock concert there. It's a ship projected as a club house. Unfortunately it does not sail :) It has a nice view of the city and the restaurant has good food and nice staff. Very nice place indeed.

Went to see Ten Years After and had a blast! Quite crowded but friendly service, cheap beer, and the venue was great for letting your hair down and shaking your cake - a must do for all blues, rock and jazz fans. A 2,5 hour show for 20 Euro, great value and those boys can really play!

As we read it is one of the best bars in Budapest, but Budapest definitely has better place to go to. It has an attracting concept "club on a ship" but when we went it was nothing but a hall that had one DJ playing and the music was bad! we stayed outside for couple of drinks. The place is... More

Nice food, prices are fine and staff as well. Not located in the city centre, but trams n. 4 and 6 stop just right after the bridge and you just habe to walk for 5 minutes down the road. Recommended

We had read that it was one of the best bars in Europe ....and we don't agree at all. Maybe it's funny to have concerts in an old cargo ship ...but that's it. There were 3 concerts at the same time in differet spaces .We didn't listen to any of them apart of the noisy music from one of them... More

A 38 is a very civilised concert venue in a quite interesting location (a boat). All staff was very helpful. We had a great time at the concert without any inconveniences. Also the acoustics of the hall is very good!

I got to my sister perform at this event a few days ago. It's crazy amazing, lovely staff and great atmosphere. It's mad to think you can fit a studio, gallery, restaurant and two different entertainments in one place. Well worth it.
