In the building there is the Rosetta bistro, where you can drink, eat sandwiches, cakes, business lunch. The food is quiet good but lately there is no table service at all. We asked for business lunch, we took our soups to the table outside, they told us they will warn us when our second meal is ready...when it was ready they put it on the bar counter but they didn’t told us nothing, so it was getting cold.…

One of the charms of Hungary is that arts performances are still heavily subsidized and so ticket prices are generally very reasonable. Have been to several music and dance performances in this wonderful hall. The exterior is done in concrete, square and grim. It is decorated at might with changing washes of colored light and the surface is covered with fluorescent bulbs that flash on and off. The interior by contrast is warm wood and stone with no straight lines. It's mostly curves! The concert hall has excellent acoustics and a system for regulating them according to the size of the audience and the type of event. There are louvered side panels that open into sound catching spaces on either side. The musical events I have attended in the hall have been most enjoyable. The dance theatre has similarly lovely acoustics (some musical performances happen here too) and is an intimate space given the size of the stage. The dance performances I have seen here have been excellent. In the same building is the Ludwig Museum which is an excellent art museum that does very interesting photography shows. There are also restaurants and bookstore full of large art books. …
