- Маша ВFrankfurt, Germany60 contributionsOne of the best parties ever & a highlight in Budapest!I was a bit sceptical after reading the reviews but decided to see it for myself. And definitely did not regret - it was an amazing and unforgettable experience!!! First of all, the music was great, good electronic music mixed with pop, rock and international hits. There was something there for different generations, new TikTok hits and but also many older gems. There were people of various ages at the Sparty and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. The water temperature was great, we didn't get cold in early February. Everything was clean, the drinks were good. The laser and light shows and especially the dancers were professional and great and really kept the party going. The staff was quite friendly. As the party proceeded, the security stood right next to the water and observed carefully. Even when some girls climbed on guys' shoulders, the security whistled and put light on them, so that they come down. We didn't witness anything more unsafe or outrageous than in a regular club. We didn't see people having sex in the water, just making out. As a group of girls, it is probably better to take a guy with you just in case, but I didn't see direct safety threats beyond a regular club situation. The only downside is how staff acts when the party is over. There is not warning, suddenly the lights get turned on and it is announced that the Sparty is over. We got out of the water shortly after that. But then, really short time (not even enough for a regular shower, let alone washing and drying long hair etc.) after the staff starting pressuring everyone to get out, asking how many minutes we need - although we didn't take much time and were just changing clothes. The guy I was with spoke the local language with them and they got much nicer then. But it's not the way to treat customers, that should be corrected or optimised. So if you need some time to shower, better get out of the water before the party is over. All in all, a great experience and a must visit for friends, couples and party groups.Visited February 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten February 9, 2024
- NanoPortsmouth, United Kingdom826 contributionsExpensive drinksGreat idea and it was a good night but it could be so much better. The music wasn’t great. The lights and entertainers were awesome. One poor girls feathers caught fire though! The pricing of the drinks and payment system couldn’t be less clear! The drinks are way too expensive!Visited February 2024Traveled with friendsWritten February 24, 2024
- Aleksandr BSandnes, Norway5 contributionsDifferent but boring experienceVisited 02.03.24. There were many people outside waiting to get through security check. Inside it was even more people waiting to get to the desk. You can skip the line and purchase ticket in small window at side. Drinks not included. We didn't get the system how to purchase drinks, like you need deposit and they accept it only in cash. Nobody use cash nowadays! Just take deposit from the card and charge when check-out! There were two pools, a lot boys and girls. one pool was crowded, another more intimate with just few people. Show was okay, music was okay. but far below expectations. Having a bar desk by the water could have been huge bonus! But no, you have to go out to grab a drink. After 1,5 hour we decided to leave the SPA for better vibe other place. Would I go this Party again, no. Would I recommend my friends to go there, no. But I saw many people were having fun and enjoined, probably it were just us expecting something different.Visited March 2024Traveled with friendsWritten March 6, 2024
- Mobile5738093 contributionsAmazing experienceHad an amazing time celebrating a friends 60th birthday. We are 4 ladies and at no time did we feel out of place or at risk. Some of the other reviews had made us feel a bit uncomfortable going but we already had tickets and went for it. So pleased we did. What an experience. Got upgraded to a cabin which was a lovely touch. Yes more men to women ratio but that wasn’t a problem. Everyone just having a good time. Spent time in both pools. The acts and laser shows were all outstanding. Would I do it again …. definitely.Visited April 2024Traveled with friendsWritten April 11, 2024
- Debbie C1 contributionUnacceptable behaviour from securitySparty Party Review I recently attended a Sparty event and, overall, it was a delightful experience. The ambiance was fantastic, and everyone seemed to be having a great time enjoying the unique combination of a spa and party. However, my experience was significantly marred by a disturbing incident involving security staff. During the event, I witnessed a man dancing near the stairs when a security camera indicated for him to come over. The man complied, but suddenly, an aggressive security guard rushed at him from behind. The guard violently hit the man, pulled his head down to the water, and punched him hard in the face. It was a shocking and unprovoked act of aggression. The poor guy didn’t seem to have done anything wrong. Such behavior from security personnel is unacceptable and cast a shadow over an otherwise enjoyable event. I hope the management addresses this issue seriously to ensure the safety and well-being of all guests in the future.Visited June 2024Traveled with friendsWritten June 16, 2024

This is a totally unique experience – from the stunning visuals and the I’ve been to quite a few parties, but nothing compares to this place! This is a totally unique experience – from the stunning visuals and the atmosphere of the thermal pool to the laser show and incredible dancers, every element feels like something extraordinary I never seen. The combination of Budapest’s historic thermal baths and a vibrant party scene creates a truly one-of-a-kind event. If you’re in Budapest on a Saturday, this is an absolute must-do. After reading previous reviews slightly apprehensive about what we would walk into as a party of 3 all ladies. When we arrived taken to a female only que (granted at this point there didn’t appear to be many other but got in quickly) we got given a cabin- which is more like a small changing area than a cabin but safe and secure with wristband entry. We had a fantastic night- didn’t witness any trouble or felt uncomfortable at all. Yes there were a few people snogging in the pool but not hurrendous. Staff were pleasant and helpful, drinks weren’t overly expensive only improvements could be a couple of heaters around the bar area (it was minus 3) but we had a great time highly recommend and would defiantly return. Don’t be put off by the reviews

I had been a bit put off by the other comments here before we went but it really was a very enjoyable experience and something unique that I won't ever forget. I think the two main complaints I saw were that it was expensive and that the bouncers were heavy handed.
Firstly, yes it is expensive and it is a bit of a pain to muck about with the pre-paid cards and cups, both of which need a deposit but, as long as you are aware of it before you go then its not a huge amount of money and you get it back if you can make the effort at the end.
In terms of the bouncers, I didn't see a single incident (we were only there 9:30 to just after midnight though) and all they did was whistle and shine a laser when people were on shoulders or getting a bit rowdy. Otherwise they were just watching on the perimeter.
The changing facilities are pretty good and secure. The music is a bit repetitive and it genuinely would improve it if they went old school with the music but the dancers and shows they had on were decent too.
As others have mentioned, it is a bit heavy on men, probably at least 80% guys. If you go in a group of girls, be aware you will be a focal point of attention!
Overall, really enjoyable and would recommend as an experience that is unlike anything else we have done before.

My father died suddenly at the beginning of July shortly after I purchased tickets for July 23rd. I contacted Sparty through Facebook, Instagram and email several times to see if it was possible to get a refund (included death certificate, notice etc). I received a reply on Facebook over a week ago to say someone was going to email me that day - never heard from anyone.
When I originally emailed about buying tickets I received a reply within an hour. This has been going on for the best part of a month now and my communication hasn’t even been acknowledged - even if it was to say they couldn’t give me a refund.
I will never, ever recommend anyone travelling to Budapest to visit here. Greed is a terrible thing.

We booked the tickets before we came to Budapest. Upon reading the reviews my wife and I thought attending this was a bed idea. People will have you believe it’s a seedy, aggressive, overpriced event. This is far from the truth. We are both in our 30s and thought we would be amongst a bunch of young stag parties and drunk kids. However there is a mix of ages and people who are just there for a good time. Upon arrival the security and staff can’t do enough for you and show you to your very secure cabin locker. Here you can leave all your belongings and it’s all got CCTV and staff are there to protect your stuff. You then load up your spartypay card which is a genius idea. It means you don’t have to carry cash or risk loosing your bank card. The drinks are reasonably priced and the money left on our card was refunded as cash and each time you buy a drink it gives you an update on how much you have left. Spartypay is a great way to pay safely and without fuss. I saw no aggression from any bouncers at all they are friendly And helpful. They have to be very vigilant as if a drunk idiot slips or falls there is serious risk of harm. This concept of this place is brilliant, it’s well organised, well run and everyone is just there a great time!!! Please don’t read the negative reviews these are from probably drunk kids or people who can’t handle there drink!!! We will be returning and we will be recommending this place to everyone we can. Great night to the very end!!!

My friends and I heard about this place as soon as we arrived to Budapest. Considering how much was this place was getting hyped, we thought this place would be a fun event. And here’s why we didn’t enjoy it:
1. Drinking: you need cash in order to purchase a drinking card. That drinking card is what you are going to use to purchase drinks at the venue. I don’t understand why they cannot have a standard card reader. And once people found out that this is the only method to get drinks, the only ATM was flooded with people trying to get cash. Took an hour for folks to pull cash. The website never mentioned about bringing in cash for drinks.
2. Music: the music was a constant repetition of the same beat with diversity. Either they hired the cheapest and trashiest DJ in Budapest or the venues had a set playlist that they thought was good music. Majority of the music had no lyrics or rhythm you can dance to. You can make the place go crazy if you just add a few popular mainstream music that gets everyone hyped! OneRepublic was playing that same night in the venue across the park and we heard that crowd from a miles away! This place was dead and the only a small percentage of folks were dancing.
3 Bodyguards: Highly aggressive and acted on un-provoked actions. For example: the website never explain the rules once you are in the pool. Not once did the workers at the lobby or at the entrance explained what you can and cannot do in the pool. We saw a woman get on someone’s shoulders in the pool having fun and she immediately got blinded by high beamed lasers. And their most agitated body guard immediately swam up to them and yanked her off her friends shoulder. These actions were uncalled for for something as a simple misunderstanding. And whenever men would defend her. The body guards started throwing punches at them. The venue likes to consider these intimidating body guards as lifesavers, but these workers do not care about your safety! Or else I would not have witness them punch someone unconscious.
We left an hour early before they closed and by then there was barely any people left. My guess is that other people had enough of this uneventful night.
STAY AWAY from this scam of an event and go to a place worth your time and money.

- Slipper scam: We forgot slippers so we bought them there because they are mandatory. 17 euros for two pieces of ugly plastic. The worst part, nobody was wearing slippers...
- Lame vibes: Almost nobody is dancing there, just standing and looking around like some dumb flamingo's. We tried to do our part but most of the people only started moving if the photographer was passing by.
- Cringe performance: There was a fire performance and a girl that was in a high flower on a stick "floating" around. Hardly choreography, looked like a bunch of kids who where spinning the torches like an umbrella.
Don't waste a night here... You will probably regret it.

Stop scamming people. I was scammed even though I paid an expensive ticket they. I gave them 20 000 huf and they stated that this is for the card. Money which will be returned when you return the card. And this has not happened.
There are no drinks. you cannot get drunk of what they give you even it cost a lot of money. The baths are dirty. No bar is accessible from the water.

Such a scam. Tickets says the time of the party is between 22:30 - 03:00, but the party ended at 01:30…
When we went to the manager the very cocky owner came and told us it was our fault and that there could be minor mistakes in the tickets. Also he said to us that we should have known that this was the time even when te tickets stated otherwise…
While we were discussing this we were surrounded by very aggressive security guys, and decided to just leave because this was going nowhere.
Furthermore the party was bad aswel, like 90% of the people were guys, very long waiting lines for the bar, the drinks were not cold or were not even there and it was very expensive.
Please don’t go to this party because it was just a terrible experience.

For no reason, they split men and women in the queue to get in, so I was separated from my partner for over 20 minutes standing in a queue outside. Staff and security were extremely rude. On entry, no good direction for how to queue for their useless wristband system which is cash only!? All this meant we wasted over 45 minutes getting in and we were bored and annoyed before we got started.

The cost of entry at almost £50 is ludicrous. The light show was far from spectacular. Be wary that buying a drink includes deposits for the plastic cups which can be refunded using the pre-loaded card, but you must present card and cups on exit. If you want to keep the lanyard it’s 3000HUF.
The ratio of males to females appeared very high.
Music typical EDM but interestingly the pools filled more with more mainstream pop/club classics.
Not worth it.

We’re thinking of going to Sparty in June. Is it bes to get the basic or premium package? I see that the premium package seems to offer 3 drinks, but it is a lot more expensive than the basic one. Is it worth the extra cost? Or is it better to get the basic package and then buy the drinks individually?
