An oasis in the heat of Budapest. Lots of people but still does not feel too crowded, at least on a Monday. Relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and lots of nice warm pools. Easy access with bus 26.

When walking a city, it is nice to find a place to stop, rest, eat and drink. This fits the bill well and is a pretty mix of colours too.

This is the perfect place to spent half a day. Lots of different pools. Some thermal and some not. The walk to Palatinus strand through Margaret island is beautiful but there is also a bus or free golf cart you can use to cross the...More

On a warm day this is something I would highly recommend. The different pools, wave pool and slides were all great fun and a really good idea for a nice day out. It’s really easy to get to using the bus (26) and metros around...More

Palatinus is a huge water park on the Margaret Island. Easy to get to on public transportation. Initially, we were reluctant to visit here being a Sunday, assuming large crowds, but the facility is so spread out that it did not feel crowded, after all....More

This is one of the best things we did whilst in Budapest. We decided to visit Palatinus on Margaret Island as opposed to the other spas/thermal baths as we love water parks and slides. This did not disappoint! There are four slides which were all...More

This was a great retreat for us on a hot day. Our two teenage boys loved it here. You pay to get in...approx. $40 and the lockers and changing rooms are included. Plenty of food options. Numerous pools including a kiddie area, 5/6 large slides,...More

More than a dozen pools, outside and in. Baby pool with shallow water and plenty of features kept grand children occupied for an hour.

Came here on a fairly sunny and warm Saturday. It was busy, but not overly crowded. The pools were nice, but I wish more were colder.

The reconstraction is ready, the bath which is in a huge park has at least six pools, two for swimmers, some for small children and some with thermalwater for anyone who wants to relax and cure body and soul.

It is just like any other European water park. No requirement for swimming caps or anything weird. Swimming shorts are fine, so are speedos if you are more interested in excercise swimming. Use common sense and avoid overly... More

I think they do close around middle September. But there are plenty of hot baths in and around Budapest.
