Went as a family of 4, and had lots of fun. We did have to get some help to solve the puzzle but we did it in the end, and will definitely go back to try the other levels too.

I have read about the trend of room escape games in an article, and it immediately raised me attention. I digged a bit deeper to look up where the whole story started, and was lucky enough to see that it was in Budapest, to where I had a planned trip anyhow. So put Parapark on the top of my list, as this is the place where the idea was born.
I must say, it is indeed a fantastatic thing to do. I was in a constant flow during the game. The place is a bit ran-down, but it perfectly fits to the idea. Dim light, unexpected, but not scary things to do. Well done. We liked a lot the logic of the game, and that it was a nice mix with some manual tasks as well. We talked about the game itself for a long time after finishing - although we did not get out finally. Well done!

This one started it all and I had to visit. Very unique and challenging puzzles, and atmosphere beyond words. When venturing into escape games be sure to check this one out.

as a fan of logic puzzles and games of we decided to try parapark after reading the good reviews...
after first arriving at the wrong part of the city we were told we were booked at another venue..
so after a second long taxi ride we arrived at the place. its below a ruin bar is some grim area of town...
we were greeted by our host who was polite but not very exited or enthusiastic and after ordering a drink and reading the rules
locked into the game...
the game itself is virtually impossible with illogical puzzles that even when u crack them provide no clue.. we completed around a quarter of the game.
when shown by our host we were gobsmacked at how difficult and nonsensical it was... collect three keys use one
and discard the other two now take the number from the key u have already forgotten about as its in a door which it unlocks...
the host tried to help with hints through the walkie-talkie but couldnt really understand his accent so just picked out random words ie chess board.
in fact i dont think we got one part of it without some help from the host..

My friend and I went to Budapest for a Vacation,

We heard on the way about the concept of the Exit Games and we tried several of them.

In my opinion "Parapark" was good (4rd place by challenge and sophistication, 5th by design)

The only problem we had with it was the facility - the place is locked in a basement, so the strong smell of mildew stroke us as soon as we arrived, the place could use a fresh air from time the time and cleaning the dust from the furniture.

Their Challenges were great and we had a great time solving it.

We are always on lookout for something new to do with the company. And we found this amazing thing in Budapest. We did not get out in time, but enjoyed every second of it. We saw a coming soon in Vienna and we said we will not wait. Was the right decision. You guys rock! Keep up the good work!

Must do in Budapest. We did it as a couple and it was great. We were able to solve the puzzle right within the time limit, challenging but not impossible. The owner was nice and honest. The prices we reasonable, but offcourse when you go with more peolple you will pay less. It was nice that the game was a challenge for the mind and didn't require fysical tests. Must do, we would'nt doubt doing it again.

Deffinitely, a must to do in Budapest, you can't really miss it! Original, different, exciting... the price is totally worth, it's a great experience.

Our second 'escape the room' puzzle in Budapest, love this kind of thing! Clear instructions, friendly guide and nice bar. Got hints when we needed them although sometimes it took a while to understand our guide's English. I'd echo comments above - it wasn't clear what order to solve the puzzles and having clues to a much later puzzle slowed us down as we kept trying to figure out how to use them. Better lighting might help too but we've only got ourselves to blame for not looking hard enough!

My wife and I had a great time working through the puzzles. The man who ran our scenario was fluent enough in English to explain everything and give us tips and clues when we needed, but we never felt like he was pushing us through or just giving things away.

The clues and puzzles were all numbers/symbols/etc. so there was no issue with language barriers.

The only recommendation we would have is to have a bit more structure to the puzzle. Sometimes you find things that are either not used at all or are used much later. We also did the scenario with just two people; with 3 or more it would be easier to communicate and keep track of the puzzles/clues (and cheaper per person as the price is set per scenario and not by # of people participating).

It was very enjoyable, only lasts about an hour, and was a great hands-on diversion from typical tours and events.
