The area
Address
Neighborhood: District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.

Cool bar in Budapest. A must if you're into rockabilly and rock’n’roll. Didn’t know they only took cash, so had to run to the nearest atm, but they are everywhere👌

The worst bar in the world
Jul 2019 • Couples
Don't ever step in to this bar! The staff member is harrashing clients at the bar. He is drunk as hell. He threw a full bear and wine at me while serving them. The worst experience of my life.

Very busy little bar but not very tourist friendly more welcoming for locals . Had one drink and left. However the music coming from the cellar sounded great.

Myself and my wife went to Budapest last week to see the Christmas market, for a full week, a friend of ours is a frequent visitor to Budapest and friend of the owner of the Amigo rockabilly club, he suggested we have to go to the club, we were not disappointed by any means. On weekends they have live music downstairs ( small fee in. ), it was 2.45am when we left the bar and we literally danced the legs off ourselves to nothing but rock n roll music.
If you have energy and want good night out it is definitely not to be missed.

Not very often you see a place so tastefully cluttered! Cool music, cosy little bar, looks like they have live music downstairs, just moved to Budapest, will definitely be back. 🍻

The jewel in the crown of Budapest!!
Jun 2017 • Couples
This place Rocks!! It`s authentic Rock N Roll decor puts it somewhere back when music was wild and new and raw! The owner and his wife are great people that have created a place for the wild at heart to kick back with a few Johnnie Walkers and tap your feet to the sounds of Gene Vincent & Eddie Cochran alongside Stray Cats & Crazy Cavan. It`s pure bliss! My Girlfriend and I spent a night there drinking whisky and talking music with the owner ( who has an encyclopedic knowledge of all this Rock N Roll! ). Good luck from Ireland and to everyone who has as yet not visited this bar, you really do need to go there! Its a shrine to the Rock N Roll spirit that lurks within each of us! Simply Awesome!!
