Tour date: 28 September 2013.
Wasted our only chance in Budapest to party on this APPALLING tour. Firstly, the guide was 30 mins late, so 24 people were waiting like lost strangers in the freezing cold, then the guide (Garbel?? - wouldn't know his name because he never introduced himself) just put on a t shirt and started walking. All of us felt like an idiot for following. Everyone was saying how bad it was.. There was no background information or smiles from our guide that advertise themselves as personable and fun. We went to three very normal bars you could easily find off the streets of Budapest, and then they took us to "instant", a cool club, but very well known. The first bar he walked us in and then left for an hour to get cigarettes and meet up with his friends. A girl was in and out of the crawl, Danielle, I think her name was. Sour face and bad attitude. One if the people on the crawl asked if we were unlucky getting this guide and her response was "what do you expect? We take you to four bars and that's it. What you want? Information? Wrong tour".
Truly the WORST EXPERIENCE and very GUTTED we chose this tour - WASTED our only night to party. Please do yourself a favour and don't book with them.

This was simply the best night out in my 1 month long eurotrip. I've been to other capitals, but the ruin pubs of Budapest simply amazed me. It is basically a sin to miss out. Probably the best offer for solo travellers in Budapest.

Booked to go on this pub crawl on our first night in Budapest as wanted to check out some of the ruin bars . We originally just booked the basic tour but decide to upgrade on the night to include the power hour . It is well worth doing this . We paid an additional €10 for this but think it is cheaper i you do in advance .Our guide Valentine was fantastic really kept the night moving , first of all he took us all into a private room on the first bar Fogas and we played beer pong and had 45 minutes of unlimited drinks . We had our own barman and he was really quick so you did get your moneys worth . We also got a few free shots in some of the bars . We went to quite a lot of bars and a club and had an amazing night . Met some lovely people too . All in all a Great atmosphere and the guide did an amazing job. Would definitely do another pub crawl if I go back to Budapest .

Quite possibly the worst bar crawl me and my partner have ever been on. We have been on ones in Milan, Hamburg and London and let me tell you, this one was by far the worst.
We were so excited about a bar crawl and to possibly meet some new people, we booked online and arrived 5 minutes early to the starting ruin bar. We were greeted by some very unapproachable bar crawl staff in a completely empty and non atmospheric ruin bar. After waiting for 30 minutes we were given a very weak apple juice like shot (which tasted like watered down apple sours). We then set off to the next bar, we arrived and this bar was again empty, the staff didn’t even come in and try and help the group mingle or provide local knowledge on drinks, instead they just sat in the smoking area. Me and my partner decided to call it a day.
A complete waste of money and NOT recommended.

I don't understand where all the good reviews are coming from. We paid 15 euros (+8 for Power Hour) to be herded around to three different pubs. Almost no information was given about how the night would run, how long we'd stay at every bar, recommendations for drinks etc. If you're happy enough to be badly babysit alongside 75 21-year-olds, then this is the pub crawl for you.
The only reason I'm not giving this one star is because two of our three hostesses were so lovely. Both of them were called Hannah and were extremely friendly and helpful. They did their best to engage with people, so I guess my complaint is related to whoever runs this pub crawl. Smaller groups, more info, and more drinks/snacks included in the price would make it a more worthwhile experience.

Great pub crawl! It was my first pub crawl on my solo travel around Europe and it was a great way to socialise with people from different countries!

Pub Crawl Budapest provided an unforgettable experience to my wife and I. We were in a group of about 30 people from the mot diverse nationalities, backgrounds and ages. The tour was very well organised and the two guides were very nice. The bars were nice, beer was cheap and the shots were ok as they are in any pub crawl. We had a very good time. If you like drinking, partying and meeting new people, I really recommend it.

Had a amazing night with this pub crawl. Met so many amazing people. And had a fair few drinks followed by some dancing at a local club. Our guide was amazing, friendly, smart and so easy to chat to really made the group bond. Can't recommend this enough.

We had a small group of 8 people,but our guide was a fantastic, entertaining guy and I got to know everybody very well. We still keep contact and I'm definitely planning to go again. Hungarian hospitality is better than I eating my moms cooking after ordering pizza on campus for a whole year.

This was awesome! Delicious drinks were served at a variety of bar/clubs styles. It only takes one of these pub crawls to understand how wild of a city Budapest can be! Very cheap entry as well. You are crazy if you pass through this place without trying it out!
