Big Bus Budapest - what shall I say ... If you used before Big Bus you know what it is all about, if you didn't well, here are a few thoughts: - stations are several in the city - and you can get your ticket online or from the driver - and they take credit card so you don't have to worry about carrying cash. - price/service ratio I consider it appropriate and the bus is covering the majority of the sights of Budapest. - buses are clean - that was a nice plus . - due to being in January we were lucky that the weather allowed us to sit on the upper deck - but with a cover ... so not like in the summer, but still enjoyable. - good sound system - and a big variety of languages for the tours. - we started the tour at the heroes square and we also ended it there ... very good experience. - use their app, is very good, you can see the buses so you can know exactly when and where you need to be. - the buses have free Wi-Fi and is a very good connection. - the ticket we took is valid for all lines - so we switched at the Chain bridge and get the one to the Citadel... very nice. Overall a very good experience I recommend you try it, it is worth it from my perspective.

Depends how long you are in the city for but we bought the Deluxe ticket and it worked a treat and was great value too (36 euros - 3days) in this price you got... 1. Night tour (1hr & different perspective of city). 2. River cruise 1.5hr? 3. Buda Castle return suttle (we only used one way) 4. Hop on & off for 3 days 5. Free wifi (good) 6. Walking tour (we didn't get a chance to use this one) fantastic way to see the city. It was busy when we were there in sept but plenty of buses available and they cover all the key city centre stops/highlights.

We visited Budapest during the COVID pandemic. There was no communication from the bus company regarding cancellation of service etc. The day we did go- bus was clean and pleasant but communication was a real let down

The bus journey was great! I enjoyed it thoroughly! However, there was a song playing in between commentary that sounded like a live performance, mostly male singers and it ended with an audience clapping. I’m pretty sure it was in Hungarian so I couldnt pick up any of the lyrics but it was so relaxing I loved it! Please do you have the current 2020 soundtrack or tracklist?

We bought out ticket at our hotel for 9800 florints which was a 48 hour pass and incuded boat trips and a walking tour. So much better seeing the sights sat on a warm bus in march. The app was brilliant and we could see exactly where the busses were so that we weren't hanging around waiting.
