Come to one of the famous ruin pubs in the center of Budapest and discover that Fogasház is much more than just a place to party.We’d like to give you various leisure and pleasure activities. We give space for theaters for rehearsal and stages, contemporary art galleries, civil lectures and debates. We have film clubs, flea market and of course parties at night. We now planning on opening the first ruin vine bar in Budapest.You can find the Lomography shop, Fogaskerékpár a bike rental and repair shop, and a pizzeria in the house of Fogasház.

Awesome ruin bar and club

If you are looking for a good night out in Budapest, come to Instant Fogas. This ruin bar converted into a club has multiple floors of music (pop, rock, R & B, techno, latino) and is open until the early hours.

There is no entry fee, and be sure to try the jägerbombs - they are served as full drinks here, not shots, which I have never seen before!

We had huge expectations about this place, and it didn’t turn out to be a good party place. They had a lot of different rooms, but it was a maze: some signs or a map in the entrance would be good just to know where you are going and what different rooms there are. We didn’t even know what the options were and couldn’t find our place. We ended up going to another bar.

In my opinion instant is the best club ever. So many floors you can always change, it is so much fun to find the ways and to explore new floors. :) drinks are okay for a club and prices are fair. Very touristy so people from

Would not recommend, the place feels sketchy although it supposed to be one of the best clubs in the city, the music was the worst (outdated songs, bad remixes and every song lasts for an eternity).
The bartenders weren’t that nice and people there WILL spike your drinks so be sure to ALWAYS hold your cup.
If I were you I would stay far away from this place..

A horrible tourist trap with racist security guards

Pubcrawls or organisations would take you there, most probably they take commissions. At the entrance the security guide would be so rude to you if you don't have a European look. A guy who has a shaved head even made an impression of people. He even literally pushes people just because he thinks he can. I won't even tell how he reacts to my friend who is a black guy. Don't support this place, they don't even offer a good service and the stuff are mean.

horrible brunette staff member

went on a bar crawl and everyone was nice. got to this bar/club and we asked the brunette bar tender (14/08/2022) where the exit is and she didn’t even look us in the eyes. we repeatedly asked her where the exit is and she purposely made a point to not answer us when all we asked was how to leave. good club but completely poor service which has let the whole club down. it was not marked as a clear exit as the ‘entrance’ was not the same exit. it was blocked off, and when we asked how to exit it, we were ignored despite repeated exposure of questions asking how to leave. especially by the brunette bar tender who went out of her way to ignore what we were asking, despite all us asking how to leave the venue. Lovely location, but let down by disgusting staff who ignore anyone asking simple questions

Horrible Experience

We were a part of a pub crawl (Bingo Pub Crawl) and Instant Fogas was our last stop. We were having a good night until my wife decided to go to the washroom, and as she went i was in one of the parts of the club waiting for her. Because she took a while to come back i got worried and decided to go look for her. The club was tooo l crowded impossible to find someone. After sometime because I couldn’t find her I decided to go outside and have a look if she stepped out to look for me. I looked outside she wasn’t there, this is the worst part i wanted to get back inside and the man at the door who saw me get out would just not let me back in. Even after me telling him that I am looking for my wife and I have no interest to go in otherwise. He was guarding the door like it was the queens palace. He just did not let me in. And told me if I wanted to go in I had to wait in the line with 50 people! I just wanted to go look for my wife. He said pay for VIP and go in if you want to. Asked me to pay 2700 huf, I even said I can pay by card if you want because I didn’t carry much cash with me. He looked at me and I said “I know these are your tricks to go inside.” These were his exact words. Absolutely ridiculous. He saw me get out being worried and all i wanted was to go inside to look for my wife. Ruined my night completely. Even when me and wife managed to contact each other and she was at the door inside saying he is my husband and its okay let him in. They would just not let me In and my wife too had to get out and leave the club and we couldn’t get back in. Even if we paid for the pub crawl and had bands or what ever they did no let us back in. Never again.

Drinks getting spiked

We came here thinking it was going to be a good club because of the different floors and music. First coming in the club the smell was unpleasant and the place was very dirty, the ‘techno’ music floor was very deceiving as it was basically horrible dubstep remixes of outdated songs, the queues for drinks were ridiculous consider they have 18 bars as the bartenders service was so slow and rude. Most importantly don’t leave your drinks laying about or always make sure you look after your drinks in your hands as it will get spiked, there has been many reviews that the security is strict but clearly not strict enough to prevent from people endangering others lives by spiking them with god knows drugs. I definitely would not recommend this club to anyone and think there are so many other nearby clubs you could go to that would be much more worth it.

TERRIBLE VENUE
We took a 50/50 after reading the reviews , The bouncers and bar staff are so rude and hate the English really would not recommend do not listen to the good reviews I promise . Asked for two vodka cokes got charged more than the menu was saying and couldn’t taste any vodka . Honest review

Music is all right, bouncers and other staff are terribly rude

We almost didn't get in in the first place because one of the bouncers had a problem with my friend. We showed them our bags and everything and they still didn't want to let us in, they didn't even say why! One of the Hungarians behind us in the queue spoke to them and they let us in in the end. I still have no idea what happened there but they were incredibly rude and didn't speak English or at least pretended they don't. The music and the space inside is pretty good, you can choose from different rooms with different styles of music. However, the staff behind the bar is no better than the bouncers; we ordered our drinks and they overcharged, when I told them the price is not right they were annoyed, no apoogies or anything. Wouldn't go back.
