Nothing terribly different from this statute and all the others that adorn Heroes' Square. In the 2 semi circular monuments are leaders, and important figures in Hungarian history, and this is just one of them. Enjoy the entire scene called Heroes's Square, the center pillar...More

We went to Heroes square last year but as we were in a bit of a rush we could more or less only stay for about 10 minutes or so and we could not take it all in but on our latest holiday to Budapest...More

One of the statues you see at Heroes Square. Count Imre Thokoly de Kesmark was a noble, leader of an anti-Hadsburg uprising, Prince of Transylvania also ( briefly ) vessel king of Upper Hungary
