Went on a Thursday afternoon it was very nice, not too busy. We also visited the outdoor spa in the city and was disappointed after visiting this one. It's beautiful inside.

We arrived at Budapest via cruise ship and besides the imperial city coach tour we thought we try Gellert Spa due to the good reviews. It's certainly worth the trip as we ate too much during the cruise down Danube from Passau. Please bring own...More

In other information I read about Geller spa it said that it was built with Caracalla spa in mind in Germany. I disagree after visiting both places. Geller really needs a refurbishment. It is a beautiful building, this is true. But the set up inside...More

The main negative reviews I have read about Gellert say that the layout is confusing, it's dirty, and it's crowded. So in addition to saying that my friends and I had a wonderful time at Gellert, I'll address those negatives too. First, while the layout...More

To escape the awful weather we spent an hour or so here. It is a great facility and would be even better in warm weather, as the outdoor areas could be used. Indoors there is a large swimming pool and four thermal pools, a sauna...More

Beautiful architecture and lovely warm water wouldn't wash away the icky feeling that we paid way too much for this place in the end. Pay for towels, pay for lockers, pay for extra dressing rooms, pay for swimsuit if you didn't have one, pay for...More

Hi I cabin per person is necessary. We bought the Buda card, but can't recall how much it was, but it did allow for free entry at the Lucaks baths, whose changing facilities were superior.
