The palace-like edifice contains a huge thermal pool where people often play chess while immersed in chest-high, and very hot, water.

We visited in the evening (7pm) on our last day in Budapest. Having walked quite a bit it was lovely to just relax. Absolutely freezing when getting in and out of the pools, and once you're in you'll never want to get out. Took quite...More

Very unorganised for a tourist attraction. The changing rooms were filthy and looked like they had not been cleaned for a while. Once inside the pool, the water is not as hot as you would expect. Luke warm water and uncomfortable. My boyfriend and I...More

We had a relaxing morning at the bath. It was clean enough - not immaculate. We were happy to find out that we got most of the money back from rented towels and we were able to buy shower shoes at a reasonable price. No...More

Someone stole my towel, that is a low thing to do when the outdoor temp is minus three. An act akin to bike theft in my view. The outdoor baths are lovely in the evening, the indoor baths were a murky green colour which was...More

We visited on the 1st of Jan and enjoyed our experience. The furdo complex is old and could do with some renovations, but as some other reviews state, this does not take away from the experience at all. Just don't expect it to be modern...More

Were there early and that didn't stop the crowds. Expect to swim and sauna with lots of people, many who do not understand the culture of the place. Nevertheless this is a must do in Budapest.

Don't forget to use your discount voucher from your hop-on/off bus. Not all staff spoke good English so we struggled to understand about renting towels, but the cabin was well worth renting. Had fun in the outdoor pool & whirlpool! Good choice of pools with...More

Had a great 3 hours here on my birthday. Was exceptionally busy and a bit disorganised in the changing area as staff struggled to cope with amount of visitors. Have been previously and that certainly was not the case. Baths are well worth a visit...More

Lockers are kind of dirty but hey not to worry. Just bring flip flops and a towel! The pools are great and the outdoor one is too. But the floor was absolutely freezing so take care of that.

We went on New Year's Day and decided to purchase our tickets in advance (literally an hour before) and it was a good decision. We arrived a little before 11am (they opened at 10am) and the lines for the cashier were a decent size. If...More

Your better off using a towel from your hotel and bring your own shower gel. The charge for rental is ridiculous and don’t forget your flip flops.
