Address
Neighborhood: District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.

It is a nice place if you are looking for food because there are many restaurants and bars but honestly, the place seemed kinda dead on the both days we went, for lunch and dinner. Not many people and some places were closed. We went twice to the restaurant Spiller which was well visited but I think just around 3-4 places had guests. There was a restaurant by Jamie Oliver but we did not go. Prices rather on the high end range.

Really lively place with plenty of food places, bars etc.

It was raining the day I went but it was still busy. I think it may be slightly overrated (my opinion only!)

Not a huge amount for vegetarians but the restuarants do have options which is limited.

I chose spiller bistro and their burger and chips was really nice. Service was excellent. Either 5 8 or 12% service. You choose. I chose 12 as they were on the ball, smiley and quick with service. Total including service with a bottle of water was around £20 or pound less. To get an idea.

Weather was rainy and about 4 degrees 13th January for your understanding.

Very safe to walk around as well!

From the start to the end it was awesome! The stuff are super helpful, ( Thank You Evelin!!!) the room was super cute, clean and quiet. Buffet style breakfast included if you want, and yes you do want to at least try it! Nice variety, fresh and delicious! Surrounded by great variety of bars, clubs, restaurants, coffee shops - you don't even have to leave! They also had a weekend Art and Craft Fair, from handmade jewelries to old communist relics and pretty much anything in between. They offer great programs to see the beauty of Budapest, but pretty much everything is in walking distance as Gozsdu Court is right in the middle of the Pest side. Public transportation is also very close - takes you anywhere.
So for me, Gozsdu Court is definitely the place I'll stay next time I'm visiting!
A big THANK YOU for making my stay awesome!!!!

I went for the weekend flea and craft market. Lots of vendors with small antiques, maps, jewelry, t-shirts, handicrafts and other items for those who enjoy flea markets. There are also numerous restaurants interspersed between the vendors so it’s a lively atmosphere to spend an hour or two. You never know, you may find a treasure.

Having previously visited Gozsdu Udvar on a visit a couple of years ago, I was determined to get some more time here on my recent visit. This place is a social / cultural hub and a truly awesome place to hang out!

The pretty little street offers plenty of food, drink and entertainment and not to mention the people watching....day or night the street is inhabited by locals and tourists alike!

Definitely one to be checked out when in the Jewish quarter!

A nice place filled with bars and restaurants where you can see Budapest's nightlife.. There are many options so probably you will find what suits your taste.. Even if you don't want to sit at one of the bars or restaurants there, you should definitely pass by..

I got a tip from a friend to make sure I checked out this area while visiting Budapest. Very lively area, especially at night, with interesting architecture, shops and eateries. It has a market feel with connected courtyards - a hip place that will please all ages.

I was told by a friend about this location. It has an amazing choice of places to eat and drink and is a bit of a marketplace. Cocktail bars, italian food, hungarian food its all here. The atmosphere is also very nice. Walk up and down the passage and then decide where you want to visit. It can get very busy in the evenings.

It's a very popular place, especially in the evening or at night. It's located near Király, Dob and Holló street. It's a courtyard with lots of bars, restaurants and shops. When we were there it was a market, too with interestings things and handmade products. It has a special atmosphere.

My entry was DENIED by the Gozsdu Staff!
The "Gozsdu Staff" labeled guys were very unpolitely and rudely!
I'm just a transgender person and I was invited into the Gozsdu Mano Club, but I wasn't allowed to enjoy it - the reason: JUST BECAUSE!
It's unacceptable and discriminative in my opinion!
