Last night, Thursday September 29th, we were stopped twice by girls "asking to borrow a lighter" or "to see our maps", thankfully we had read about the scams these girls are up to. At the beginning we thought it was a thing of the past...More

It's a great place for a walk, with some great shops and restaurants! We visited a few times during our trip!

This s where you want to take a long walk and experience the stores, the art work and the restaurants. Do not miss a chance to eat at Annies and enjoy one of their desserts.

I wouldn't eat anywhere on this street really. Food is not nearly the quality or service you get off of this main strip. Also two places tried to scam us with inflated beer prices. Don't be afraid to question :) Enjoyed the central market on...More

Much touristy shopping to be had here. Many restaurants to enjoy. Walk a little further to find higher end shops and Gerbaud the delicious coffee and cake stop.

A long long pedestrian street, full of restaurants and shops. An excellent place to take a break from the tourist attractions and stroll along the street idly going window-shopping and having something to eat.

It is convenient because you find all The stores that you find in the rest of Europe. If come to Budapest to Shop then it is the place otherwise you have many other (cheaper) stores and restaurant where you can hang out!

I would describe Vaci Utca (street) as the Oxford street of Budapest, except it is not nearly as crowded but the long street has a good selection of branded shops and Hungarian eateries. It is centrally located in Pest and a lot of other attractions...More

Vaci Utca is the Main Street for shopping, eating and browsing in the heart of the Pest side of the city. We were fortunate to have beautiful weather on a short break, and a stroll along the length of Vaci was great. There was no...More
