Orsolya was a perfect "host". We booked a half-day tour of Budapest and saw and learned so much from her. We walked, went on a train and a bus (she explained how the transport system worked, which was very helpful). She is very knowledgeable and a friendly, easygoing guide. We would highly recommend using her services if you visit Budapest.

Communication to set up tour through Orsolya was great! Friends recommended her and she did not disappoint! Our tour was two days...4 hours each day. Day one we walked entirely. Day two we had a car to take us to several places where we walked some and then got picked up! Our guide, Adrienn was wonderful! She came prepared with a suggested itinerary each day and adjusted as we went along based on our interest. She was very knowledgeable about the history of the country along with the Nazi occupation, the communist reign and knew lots of neat facts and stories as we strolled the streets of this beautiful city. The restaurant she suggested were wonderful! We loved Hungarian goulash and she kindly told me how to make it and during our trip to the market helped me get the ingredients I would need! By doing four hours a day it gave us time to explore on our own. She left us each day with suggestions! To sum up our experience we would say it was like spending time with a friend ...having a conversation about the beautiful city of Budapest and it’s long interesting history! Thank you Adrienn!! P.S. I made goulash last night and it was delicious!!

Professional, kind, thoughtful, knowledgeable, patient, and generous. These are just the beginnings of the wonderful qualities that Orsolya brought to this eye opening tour. Together with her husband, Hevis, they brought so much unique knowledge to the table. There was no topic off limits and no dumb questions. They gave us the full gambit of the Tokaji wine experience. I would rate this 7 puttonyos if that were a possibility but thanks to their wonderful knowledge I know that it only goes up to 6. They are as sweet, deep, and thought provoking as the most wonderful aszú offered in Tokaji. Ten out of ten recommend.

We are a family of 5 adults who had limited time in Budapest, so spent a full day with Orsi and her husband, Miha (who was much more than the driver!).Orsi grew up in Budapest and is incredibly knowledgeable in history, arts, politics and her English is superb! Miha is from Slovakia so it was interesting to get his perspective on the area as well. Orsi gave us a wonderful overview of the city with plenty of stops & time to walk around. We explored both the Buda and Pest sides of the city and had a fabulous lunch in the middle of the day. This tour was a wonderful way to get a feel for Budapest and all of its highlights, making it easier for us to determine which sights we wanted to return and explore on our own in the days that followed. I highly recommend the very personable & knowledgeable,Orsolya, if you are looking for a tour guide in Budapest!

We were lucky to have a great private guide for Budapest - Adam Marot. He was knowledgeable about the Jewish Quarter, and generally about history relating to the Austrian Empire, WWII, and the Communist Era. He has a great sense of humor and is willing to tailor the tours to your needs and interests. We did two half day tours with Adam and they were both great. Adam also gave us good suggestions for things to do for the times we were not touring with him. While my husband and I are both empty nesters - we would recommend Adam for any age group and any size group.
