We spent a most enjoyable afternoon on the wine tour--one of the highlights of our stay in Budapest.

- An interesting tram ride from the heart of Budapest, through Soviet-era apartment blocks, to what was once a village near the city that has now engulfed it.

- A walking tour around the village and through wonderfully creepy wine cellars dug in the limestone ridge. Be aware that the walking (some of it uphill) lasts about an hour.and requires some physical effort.

- A fun and informative 2-hour wine tasting in the cellars--not just samples but glasses of six Hungarian wines, along with information about them. The whole group, of a dozen or so including four nationalities, became great friends after the second or third glass . . .

Our guide was knowledge and friendly. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone in decent physical shape with even a small interest in wine.

This was a really lovely afternoon. The host was very informative and the Hungarian wine is clearly very nice. The charcuterie we received was also delicious. I’d recommend this thoroughly

This tour was fun and educational. We had a great group and enjoyed learning about each other over wine and food. By the twelfth tasting (not the tiny pours in the US!) we were best friends for the evening.
This is a lovely way to learn more about local people, customs wine and eat an excellent meal. If you are going to Budapest, be sure to get out of the city a bit.

The wine tasting cruise was a part of our one year anniversary celebration, and it provided very romantic atmosphere. During the 2 hour cruise there was live music being played which added to the Romantic atmosphere. There was 7 different types of wine from Hungry being served which was very generous. The cruise took place on the Dunabe River which provides amazing views of both sides of the city, would definitely recommend to attend during night time!

A stroll around an old wine village, with a bit of history and nostalgia for what used to be. The underground cellar where the wine tasting took place was wonderful atmospheric, the wines of good quality and we got to meet some great people. Our guide was very knowledgeable and all over a great experience.

I visited the wine tasting tour with a group of friends and it exceeded my expectations! The tour guide was very friendly and informative, it was nice to see this neighborhood and view of the city and the underground wine cellar was impressive. Besides, the wines were good and they were generous. Unique, since it offers a whole tour and wine experience in a cave rather than just a few glasses of wine in a bar!

The wine tasting tour to Etyek with dinner was superb! I wondered if it was just because it was a fun group or because we drank so much 😜 - but our guide Daniel was excellent and very funny. The wineries and wines were great. It was a wonderful way to spend our last evening in Hungary.
