I went on a bottomless boat tour with my 3 best friends. ROBERTO was an amazing host. He was so friendly and informative. The best service we had in Budapest by far. I would highly recommend this - amazing views of Budapest and excellent service, particularly from Roberto!

It was a lovely experience. I recommend going in later hours so you can fully enjoy the Budapest during sunset.
The only misunderstanding we had was that it says unlimited prosecco, which I naturally thought is included within the price paid but except the welcome drink we had to pay additionally for the next one.

A lovely little night time cruise maybe more aimed at the younger due to the unlimited sparking wine (more like an asti due to being sweeter than a Prosecco which we prefffered), and no folk dancing show as some are. Crowd was a mixture of people ranging from about 20-50 yrs (We are 30). Dress code also mixed some people in jeans and trainers and some ladies in nice dresses and heels but I feel they were a bit overdressed personally - would say go smart casual.
Vibe was good not like an actual booze cruise with a dance floor, but have a little bop and sing along at your table kind of affair, good known music, a mixture of genre.
Staff all friendly and attentive, and never let your glass go dry. There were 2 mixers at the bar one orangy thing and one lemonade type which is nice if you don’t like straight wine.
We got the food option and glad we did as it was actually very nice, not too heavy (if you don’t eat the bread) and set us up nicely for a few more hours of drinking before heading for a wonderful kebab.
We were worried about finding it as it is not easily advertised where to get on but after some delving it is DOCK 0 (‘big red 0 - Carl lutz rakpart’) and our bolt taxi knew the cruise and where it was anyway.
Would definitely recommend for couples or warm up drinks with a small group.

Boat tour was good and they top up your Prosecco a lot. However the music is too loud which makes conversation hard and you need to get there early before they sail to get a decent seat.
Worse thing is that if you grab one of the taxis waiting quayside when you disembark at the end they may charge you 10 times what they should. Beware!! Get a price before you ride. Most of our taxis will in BP cost us £8 whereas this one was £40!!

The worst ever experience I had in Budapest. I ordered the fireworks cruise and one of my friends got too drunk and we have to call an ambulance. The staff onboard is not caring but laughing and giggling on us being nervous about our friends because the ambulance didn’t come in 2 hours. I ask one of the staff do not laugh anymore since this is not funny at all, he replies me with middle finger. Then I said to the another staff that he shouldn’t do that and he should apologize for his behavior, the other staffs are rude too and he showed his middle finger several times more. This is really unacceptable. I don’t understand that how would you disrespect your customers like this, especially you know that you kind of represent your country since we are all tourists here. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND, DO NOT PUT YOURSELF IN THIS SITUATION. NOBODY SHOULD BE TREATED IN THIS WAY!!!!!

Serious safety incident
May 2023
My son Hardit along with his cousins and friends went on the 10pm Prosecco cruise on may 22 on LUDWIG.
There was no announcements, briefings or warnings of the dangerous water currents of the Danube, or of safety protocols in an emergency upon boarding. The water at night looks deceptively calm and safe. In a dare challenge with his companions he jumped into the water at 11.12 pm. The crew and captain knew of the dangers of fast moving water and didn’t try to rescue him at all as per maritime protocols or humane concerns for the safety of the guests. The boat is equipped with a floating raft and buoy in the stern that could have been easily tossed to my boy who was seen floating down stream with strong currents and trying to swim. How can these people be so cruel and unconcerned for human life. It has been five days and he hasn’t been found and presumed drowned.
He was an avid swimmer, bit it was dark, the water currents of the Danube are very strong around 15km/hour and the embankments are steep for miles.
Many accidents have happened on these cruises, that is why it is important for these boats to warn the guests and be very responsive in rescue if an incident happens.
If anyone was on that cruise and made video of my son in water please contact me singhusa@hotmail.com or 1-562-577-2077 WhatsApp.

The cruise itself was very nice. However, the experience was quickly ruined when, at the end of the cruise, their staff directed us into "private cars" pretending to be taxis. The staff knew what was going on, but just let us walk right into this tourist scam where you are charged 10x the going rate to get home. The "private car" looks the same as a cab, but is not a cab. Unless you know about this scam, there is no way to avoid it as they sit in a queue at the exit of the cruise. This goes on every single night; not a secret to the staff who is local and well aware of the scam.
When I called to complain, the company representative hung up on me. Very disappointed that in this day and age they would think that this would not reflect badly on them. In the end, I don't really care about the $100 or so I lost. I feel pity for people that do this for a living and disappointment that a cruise would allow this.
Viator has a role to play in this industry and should remove this cruise from its activities unless they remedy this scam happing under their watch to unsuspecting tourist.

Just off the cruise and as a true Scotsman I’ve tested the unlimited Prosecco to its terminal velocity it’s not Moët but it has an abv so it’s alright with me

If you wanna have a chance to choose a place on the boat, come in advance, I came before 15 minutes, and I was closer to the end of the queue. And I didn’t manage to take a seat on the roof floor. But on the second floor there are panoramic windows, they can be opened and there less wind and warmer, especially if windows are closed
