I will show you MY city, what I love about it, what I think is unique and special! My tours illuminate the history of Budapest and her people - I hope very much - in an unconventional and amusing way!

Our family of four (two sons 17 and 23 year old) spent three days in Budapest. We planned the details of the tours for each day with Gabriella by phone, two days with private van, and one day a walking tour. Everything went as we planned and beyond: our English speaking tour guides (we had two different guides over three... More

My wife and I had an awesome 2-day tour of Budapest and a little of the surrounding countryside on July 11th and 12th 2016.. The first day, we had Katalin as our guide. She took us to all the places we had checked out on the internet and more. She is very knowledgeable, and knew the history and current events.... More

Gabriella did an incredible job of showing us the highlights of Budapest including the major Jewish sites in only six hours. Got the job done in spite of time constraints beyond our control - we were able to see all major attractions even if some were only a drive-by. Gabriella came highly recommended to me and I am highly recommending... More

June 17th This was our second visit to Budapest and we wanted to see the Jewish Quarter and the Great Synagog. Being Christians, we also wanted to learn about the history, culture and experiences of the Jews who lived in Budapest. Gabriella was our guide and she was outstanding. You could easily tell that she was an English teacher, as... More

We've used Gabriella in the past and she was a super guide. Unfortunately she was not available the day that we needed her assistance this trip and she sent her able substitute Katrina who was excellent. Knew the history, the places and special insights into the various areas of the Jewish Quarter of Budapest that we were interested in Highly... More

We spent one day with Gabriella and one day with her colleague Edit. Both brought the history of Budapest to light with personal stories of the hardships Hungary has had to endure through the centuries. They were sensitive to our needs, and our interests. We would highly recommend them, and any advice they might give, to maximize your enjoyment of... More

Our 1st visit to Hungary was 20 odd years ago, just after the fall of communism. This time (mid April '16) we brought our teenage daughter with us, so she could personally experience part of her heritage (on her mother's side) and learn about it's history. We arranged to have Gabriella show us around the "new" Budapest, and her historical... More

Last week we toured Budapest on three separate days with Gabriella following an itinerary which we had discussed via email prior to our visit. For our first tour Gabriella drove us around the city stopping to visit the Cave Church of St Ivan which is built into the Gellert Hill, followed by a quick look around the Gellert Baths and... We had such a great time in Budapaest and fell in love with it. We started with a tour on a first day and it was perfect. Robert was such a great guide and he had a great plan. We learned some great history of the Maygar people from the past and into the present. After the tour, we felt... More
