The first venue A-list Salon & Spa opened its doors in 2003, with the lead of Zsuzsanna Galgóczy. Following the market trends and keeping in mind the needs of the customers, we continuously expand our services. Our Buda and Pest venue features a hairdressing salon, manicure-pedicure services, and a cosmetics department. In 2019 there was a new joiner to the franchise named SPIRIT NAIL SPA, located in the city center. We use premium quality materials in our salons: in the hairdressing department we use MOROCCANOIL, REDKEN, KÉRASTASE, OLAPLEX and K18 products, in the manicure and pedicure department we use OPI, VICTORIA VYNN, CND, and SIXTUS brands, and in the cosmetics department we use BELICO and PHYT'S BIO products. A medical disinfection machine is used in our manicure and pedicure area for the complete safety of our guests. And in our cosmetics department, we offer full-body, soul-replenishing facials, eyelash lifts and laminations as well.

Absolutely amazing salon! I had a fantastic experience. Being on holiday in Budapest I heard about this famous salon and was a bit nervous as I normally do not go to the hairdressers in a foreign country but it was an amazing experience! Bianka Czakó is a very talented Master Artist Hairdresser and she made me feel comfortable right away. She and the owner of the shop, Zsuzsanna Galgóczy, took their time to discuss the options, colours and process with me and I was blown away by the result. Before my hair was very dark and looked worn out, afterwards I felt like a moviestar. My looks and feels wonderful. An absolute MUST when in Budapest to visit this salon!

I went today for manicure first time after long time. Receptionist really kind and with good English skills. The employee that assisted me knew only the basics, so no talk for an hour. I was charged abive the price in the site. Booking a signature manicure, I was expected better treatment. I had booked in advance the next appointment but i will reconsider.

This place is busy! my wife and granddaughter were dropped off at 7:00 PM. at 8:30 PM she had a full pedicure and manicure with all the services. She said there were two attending her at all times. No small talk but non stop performance art and skill. Same cost as at home but her smile tells me she is very satisfied!

I went on a keratin treatment twice, the first one was fine, the second much less effective. I booked a third appointment where they asked for an advance as the treatment had discounted price. They changed the hairdresser, then I decided I do not want to get the treatment and canceled the appointment weeks in advance. I sent an email to the salon, ask for a refund. They called the day after, very nice, promised to release the payment in the next couple of days, but nothing happened. So I wrote them a second email, no response, wrote a third reminder, for which they returned to me that they can’t give me a refund, as I did not show up at the appointment and their college was waiting for me, which is an explicit lie or a mismanagement from their end. I sent them the confirmation email, for which they responded, that ok, noted, but still cannot provide me a refund, as they do not repay any advance payment. I liked this salon, despite its 80’s design, but this is a really bad customer experience. I do not recommend it.

Gabi my hairdresser who is really great works at this salon. I expected the same quality service in pedicure and manicure with gel nails. Unfortunately I choose to come here before my wedding and had a terrible experience. My wedding nails are not professional at all!! I do not recommend this salon for the same price you can find professional manicurists and salons in Budapest. Really disappointed. :(

I do not recommend this place to anyone who would like quality gel nails and also do not go for this if it’s your last option before a special day. I asked for a wedding mani/pedicure. Pedicure was ok since I only asked for French nails. The manicure was terrible, the gel extremely thick, uncomfortable, made my hands look huge - not to mention it took 3 people to draw 6 leaves on 2 nails. Since it was done the day before my wedding, I had no option but to have to wear the terrible nails I have got from here. Please do yourself a favor and don’t ask for “complicated” stuff or find a better place. Gel nail polish they can probably handle, nothing more.
Also they charged double for a minimal haircut I had asked for my little daughter because the hair “designer” had made literally 2 cuts on my 8month old above each ear. Really rude staff and treatment. Ridiculous. Quality+service≠prices. Will not return.

I had the worst manicure experience in my life for THIS price!! The “top master” couldn’t even do the basic beige top straight. and i am not taking about the manicure part itself. Just watch the video. 12500 hug for this is a total waste of money! Wouldn’t recommend ever!

The worst hair cut ever seen when I brought my teenage daughter to make a nice style. not professional at all...I was choked while sitting and observing the way she was cutting..but I kept my mouth and didn't want to interrupt till the end..and won't make my daughter sad. That was big mistake as we arrived home she find plenty of mistakes. Sorry..but we paid 11300 ft for what???

Hi. I just home from my 5 day vacation in Budapest. I was alone and asian. I just walked in because it was early around 10am in the morning. They've just open for the day. I Ask them of they entertain walk-in customer and they said "yes" so i Ask for the manicure and pedicure with spa, and they said i need an appointment. so they just did manicure with spa. The lady who attended to me was nice but before she was finish with my hands and nails, she Ask me to move to the waiting area because she have a customer. I find it so rude and racist. And i was asking for their other services they did not entertained me. So i paid and left. For 6,600 huf was not Even worth it. They don't entertain much if a person is from Asia.

Be careful of two price lists for this establishment..... one for Budapest side and one for the pest side salon despite emailing and trying to confirm appointment for 4 people we took time and money to go to the spa on pest side... To be told we saw budapest pricing on the web we are wrong and get knotted type story and quite rude didn't want to phone manager or negotiate a deal so end result a bitter taste and no business for them.... Off we went to Thai massage place..... Wonderful!!!!!

We want to tell the Pest salon prices are higher because this store is located in the heart of Budapest with higher rents and the Buda salon belongs in another district. That is why we have different prices.We really apologize for you.

The price of a wash and blow dry (without a haircut) varies between 4.200 to 6.200 depending on the length of your hair and the category of the hairdresser whom you book your appointment with. (We categorize our hairdressers as Senior, Master, Top and Art Director based on their professional experience and time spent at A-list Salon & Spa.)
