VR Vidámpark is a virtual reality entertainment with 3 floors and 2000 square meters, which is not only unique in Hungary, but in Europe as well. With a wide range of special VR equipment we can take you to different worlds, and experience many unique adventures. Ride on a roller coaster, meet Dinosaurs, discover ancient Egypt, face a horde of zombies, or test your skills at our VR escape rooms.

We visited Budapest for a weekend break back in March and saw that VR park was a recommended activity to do alongside all the usual sightseeing. We wanted to break our last day up and do something fun. We are so glad we visited and you’ve got to go here!
On arrival, one of the owners (Illes) showed us around the attraction and was very friendly and knowledgeable. The place is literally absolutely massive and one of the largest virtual reality centres I have ever been lucky enough to visit (and I’ve been to quite a few!) It is spread over many floors and has lift access.
The staff are very friendly and there is so much to do/equipment to play on whatever your budget. Everything is priced separately depending on what you want to do. Alongside the simulators, they offer some really cool ‘free-roam’ VR experiences that the owner told us they design themselves!!! You put on a VR headset and a special backpack computer and literally walk around freely.
We tried the ‘Dark Side of Anubis’ experience and it was incredible. I won’t spoil it - but wow! It is definitely recommended and you MUST try it during your visit. It feels like you are really there inside the Egyptian themed world before things start to ‘happen’ ... :D
Sadly, we didn’t have time to do any of the other experiences during our visit but will definitely try them out if we visit the city again.
Make sure to stop for a coffee and a snack at the cafe to refuel before you leave. It has a great space themed decor, very unique! I believe you can pop in off the street to use the cafe without paying an entry fee. Worth knowing if you are in the area.
Overall it was a fantastic experience and great to do something fun together for a few hours whilst visiting the city. Special thanks to Illes for his help in explaining everything. Thankyou for a great time!

We tried the time traveler experience, which was awesome. Each was about 20 minutes. If you have glasses and you have the option of wearing contact lenses, I recommend you do that. I don't have extremely big glasses and it fit under the VR goggles, but it was a bit tight and hurt my nose a bit. It was totally worth it though.

Visited VR park in Budapest from London where we already have a lot of VR experiences available, most of which I have tried as I am a huge VR fan. This is by far the most superior VR world I have ever come across.
The range of tech they have is crazy, so many gadgets and games that I haven't seen anywhere else. I played through both of their main attractions: the Dino Safari and the Dark side of Anubist and both were incredible. Fully immersive and very well designed, for original content, I was very impressed.
It is a big location but no space is wasted. The corridors and rooms leading up to the games are all themed and help build your anticipation. I have seen other reviews mention price but they have such a wide range of VR and non VR experiences to suit anybody. There is so much to do here and the staff are top notch at keeping you entertained whilst you wait and are very knowledgeable with both the games and equipment.
Also with wait times and tech issues, this happens everywhere. VR is the most high tech form of gaming and there all always going to be a few issues. Don't let a possible wait time ruin your chance of trying a experience unlike anything else.
Well done guys and look forward to see what you guys do next, I will be waiting

Tech issues are unfortunately part of the VR technology as it’s all still relatively new. But our amazing crew always makes sure that it doesn’t affect the overall customer experience too much.

Staff: Bored, they regularly checking their phones while you are doing something not caring what you doin.
Games: They have a lot of cheap Chinese games, also all their games are pirated. Like Pirated Project Cars for example. You also have like 5 minutes for every game, and if your time runs out at the middle of a beat saber song, you are done. Next game. They have a rollercoaster game, that last for 2 minutes.
Place: Clear, gamer theme. It was fine.
Tl/dr If you wanna try it before buying a VR, try Beatsaber at the place. Else, don't bother.

Dear zoleewolf! We're sorry you didn't have a good time. It is worth trying several ticket types, because there are games that are much more complex and professional than our simulator experiences. Our colleagues communicate within the team on their phones, however, we are sorry if you felt that they did not care about you, we will try to pay more attention to this.

Amazing experience!
We have purchased the time traveler tickets and we have had a blast, I would totally recommend it. It’s a suitable option for a small number of visitors (2) as well. This place is huge so you might end up staying a couple of hours here. Our game master was extremely helpful as well, she explained the specifics and stayed with us after the time travel experience as well to introduce us to a couple of other activities as well.

It is Not for younger kids (below 10) but they sell for small kids! This place has a come and pay us pay us attitude. I feel they only want to het money out of your pocket. I won’t try again. Maybe group of older kids or adults would do well but they are not ready to handle younger ones
- they were not explaining rules of games well for younger kids so it was confusing
- They said: ooh yeah we do lots of BD parties here. the room showed me is not suitable for birthday parties at all. Its a small dark waiting room.
They should make it more family friendly with younger kids or don’t offer your service for this group.
So overall: Maybe once you get a feeling to try but thats all only once, and its not cheap at all.

We were sad to see that you weren’t satisfied with our service. We don’t really understand your reasoning, as we host multiple birthdays per week, even for kids aged 7-10. It’s true that not all of our games are suitable for younger kids, but everyone can find something they like. We’re constantly learning to communicate the rules of the games better, and we will do better in the future.
We don’t really get complaints about our party room, some parents decide to decorate it, some use it without decorations. The room can fit up to two groups of twenty people with a divider in the middle, and it has three XBOX consoles that guests can play for free. We always have kids returning who were guests at a party and would like to have their own birthday party at the park.

Fantastic experience with lots of fun ! Been there for our son’s 9th birthday party with his friends. After warm and kind welcome of the staff and thorough xplanation of the games we had a really great 3 hrs there. We especially enjoyed the team play where we had to cook and work together.
The staff was extremely kind, patient and funny and guided us perfectly from the start till the end through the vr world and games.
I recommend it highly for groups and also for families!

I did the premium tour, and it was amazing! You really feel like you are in the game, especially in the anubis game, very recommended.
I also was in the history of video games museum, but I don't recommend it. It's pretty small, and a lot of the consoles there doesn't work

It is a nice hidden treasure of Budapest! Originally it was planned as a Plan B if the weather is not nice, but it became even a better experience then plan A. I can just recommend it.
