About
Located in the historic Castle District of Budapest, we are working since 1953 as the oldest private fine art gallery in Hungary. Our three storey atelier-house & beautiful sculpture garden welcomes our visitors and customers with a homely and warm atmosphere. We show works of the best modern and contemporary Hungarian painters, sculptors and etchers. We advise our guests in fluent English, German, French and Italian.

The historical center to a city with a multifarious and intricate past, Buda has some of the most outstanding buildings in Europe and an enviable natural landscape with stunning views onto the Danube. Centered around the Royal Palace, it provides a glimpse into the golden years of the Austro-Hungarian empire and the lives led by the aristocracy at the time. Matthias Church, beside the palace, hosted many events attended by the royal family and was the chosen place for the coronation of Franz Josef, one of the Hungarian Habsburg kings. Having admired the palace and the church, a visit to Buda will be unforgettable by the stunning and memorable panorama over Pest offered by the seven towered Fishermen’s Bastion.

The Koller Gallery has a wide variety of high quality art, including paintings and sculptures mostly produced by Hungarian artists. The setting, including a spectacular back garden, is very attractive and the staff is friendly and informative. A year after our visit, I contacted the gallery and arranged to purchase a bronze sculpture of an elephant. The purchase and shipping process was conducted flawlessly over the Internet.

Breathtaking gallery, we just randomly walked in and we had a warm welcome. You don't feel any pressure, you can walk around and see all the treasures they have.
It was that we were students, prices were perfect but it stays a luxery product.

Thanks for the nice chat and lovely view!!

If you look at the Fischerbastei in the castle district, then you should take a quick look at the gallery. Art is a matter of taste and is in the eye of the beholder.
I personally thought the pictures were okay, but not mine. But the sculptures and the small, lovingly created and well-kept garden - fantastic! Great sculptures!
Nice and friendly people work there who politely and happily answer questions. A great location, 2 minutes from the Matthias Church in the castle district.

Worth a visit for everyone who likes culture and art

A surprisingly large gallery that extends over three floors and has a lot to offer. It covers many different eras, so it's really fun to walk through and admire the works. Very competent advice! It's worth it.

A place worth to visit. Beautiful artwork and a sculpture garden. Truly a hidden gem! At first I was hesitant to ring the bell on the door, but don't be shy! Ring the bell and the artwork will ring some bells in your soul!

I really enjoyed my visit! Staff was absolutely wonderful: warm, welcoming and very helpful. The atmosphere was peaceful and the views from the top floor were beautiful. Their collection was versatile and interesting, especially the sculpture garden was wonderful.

I highly recommend for everyone to pay a visit to this gallery!

Small private contemporary art gallery.
Very interesting selection, the staff very kind but never invasive. Catalog with (honest) prices for free consultation. I recommend reaching it on foot to enjoy the spectacular location.

Got to the gallery and the garden while a typical touristic walk on the castle hill shortly after I moved to Budapest. Interesting artwork and the atmosphere make me go back every now and then. Every time do not feel like leaving at all. Just missing one little thing - a coffee machine in the garden (but then, who would leave at all).
Great views.
