This is a nice-looking statue, located in a small garden in the middle of a central square.
Getting close to the statue can be a bit difficult due to the traffic, but it's somehow worth it.

Walking along the riverfront of Pest side of the River Danube I came across this great statue in honour of Ferenc.
Deak Ferenc was a political giant ,this statue, one of several impressive statues in this area of the city is really good ,all the figures that make up this monument are well detailed and beautifully weathered by age ,its most definitely a statue to check out if you're in the area and easy to locate Szechenyi Istvan Ter.

Szechenyi Istvan Square is a space dedicated to a work of art on the Pest side of Budapest's chain bridge. But the traffic in this particular spot is very intense and one has to literary look for a small window of opportunity and RUN to get to it. We managed one night! I remember seeing this spot when we took the hop on hop off rides. Then you get a slight glimpse of it since it is not a very large square and the traffic is tough.
Deak Ferenc was "the Wise Man" who facilitated the "compromise" between Hungary and Austria.
The Statue itself has of course Deak Ferec at the top and also "Justice", "the compromise" "Hungary" and "Education in Progress", One of the sculptures Huszár Adolf died before the statue was completed and others were involved in its completion. I find that Hungarian Sculptures are great!

The statue of Ferenc Deák at Széchenyi tér is very impressive and stands on the large green area there. A beautiful photo opportunity.

Imposing statue dedicated to one of the most important Hungarian politicians who lived in the 19th century (not to be confused with his footballer counterpart); he was so popular that it was decided to build a statue dedicated to him even before his death, even if it was completed later; it is a rather tall monument which between the Basement (in marble) and the Statue (in bronze) is almost five metres.
