My husband and I and our two friends were very fortunate to secure Zoltan, of Rinett Tours, for a 3 day tour of Hungary plus airport transfers. Zoltan was fantastic and went out of his way to be helpful. Nothing was too much much trouble. He was always on time, spoke great English, was very knowledgeable, had a great sense of humour and showed genuine concern for his clients. We did the city tour with Zoltan and he took us to all the fabulous sights and chose the best vantage points which provided us with great photo opportunities. Zoltan also drove us to my husband's family hometown, Bekesszentandras. He was kind enough to act as our translator for the day and even participated in the family reunion. We spent a lovely day at Lake Balaton and when the weather turned a little showery, Zoltan was prepared with umbrellas. Zoltan is a courteous and safe driver and I have no hesitation in recommending his services to those visiting his beautiful city.

Just spent a few days of our past week in Hungary with Zoltan thanks to
his past excellent reviews and we weren't disappointed. With a college
degree as a tour guide, Zoltan's knowledge was amazing.....his detailed
history of each of the statues at Heroes Square was unbelieveable.
However, his help started months before our trip as he helped me find
contacts for relatives/ancestors I was looking for in Bocs, made
several phone calls, and helped arrange our visit with the local
Reverend. Without his translation, we never would have had the
successful visit in Hungary that we did. Zoltan also arranged taxi
transportation for us, reserved tickets, and gave us many
suggestions/tips as we tried to get in as much as we could in our
limited time. Zoltan was always flexible and was more than happy to
take a side trip to Eger on our way back from Bocs. Zoltan was
extremely professional, a good driver and always on time with a clean
car and pleasant personality. With the hours we spent together and the
research he did for us, we felt as though he had become part of our
family. You couldn't ask for a better Hungarian guide and we hope to
use his services again. To get the most out of your visit to Hungary,
call Zoltan!!

We took a van tour with Zoltan on November 30th and we absolutely loved it! He is such a nice man and he showed us so many wonderful sights in the city. We were 4 people and his van was very comfortable and we felt safe in his hands. We highly recommend this tour!

This was our 2nd trip to Budapest and we had absolutely no hesistation in using Zoltan Horvarth as our guide once again. His patience, knowledge and thoughtfulness were features of the time he spent with us (8 adults) over 2 days. We did the full day Danube Bend tour which was fabulous, including lunch and Medieval Games! We also did the city walking tour and Zoltan correctly judged the pace and spoke about the statues, monuments and historical significance of buildings and places that we passed. Zoltan had us at our end of tour meeting place, New York Cafe, right on time and even showed us to our table.I highly recommend Zoltan to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and accommodating guide in Hungary. We hope to return to Hungary again someday soon and will again contact our friend Zoltan for assistance and guiding.Thank you for everything Zoltan.

We hired Zoltan because of what we read about his ability to investigate family ancestry. We traveled with my 91year old mother, who wanted very much to visit the birthplace of her grandmother. Prior to our arrival, Zoltan did preliminary research based on the little knowledge we had. At the end of our Viking Danube cruise, he picked us up, and we headed out to the countryside. I cannot say enough about his patience, kindness, intelligence, knowledge of his country, wisdom and good nature. We hit the jackpot! Zoltan found the church my great-grandmother was baptized in and arranged for us to meet with the parish priest so we could look at record books from the 1800's with Zoltan acting as our most charming translator. We learned an immense amount about our family history, and my mother was delighted. We did much more with Zoltan - including touring a typical grocery store and beautiful Budapest. Happily, he didn't miss a chance to show us things we might never have discovered on our own.

Don't hesitate for a second to hire Zoltan. His command of English is total. He's an outstanding individual whom we wish could be cloned and put to work in every major city of the world. Thank you Zoltan.

My wife and I retained Zoltan to pick us up in Zagreb and take us to Budapest. The scheduled air travel is terribly long . We learned of Rinett through Trip Advisor and the glowing recommendations that were posted therein. The recommendations were 100% true! Zoltan arrived in Zagreb on schedule and provided us with a very safe ride to Budapest pointing out areas of interest. He also provided us with both a day and night tour both of which were super. He booked a folkloric dinner for us on the night tour and we had a great time.
If anyone wants a private tour of Budapest or a customized one , Rinett is the way to go for a professional, entertaining and safe experience.

We were delighted to have Zoltan Horvath as our guide in Budapest. He is knowledgeable and progressional and a very nice person. His walking tour of Pest and Buda really helped us to understand the important history in this amazing city. We covered so much history of the culture and architecture in just a few short hours. We also did the Danube Bend tour with him and really enjoyed the experience of getting out of the city and exploring 3 very unique towns. His car was exceptionally clean and comfortable. As a teacher myself I appreciated his experience, knowledge and candor. When I asked him to accompany us on a tour of the Jewish history of Budapest he deferred to a colleague with a more extensive knowledge than himself. That is the mark of a gentleman and a scholar.

Zoltan met us (my daughter, daughter in law, and granddaughter) at the airport and we spent the day seeing the historic and beautiful sights of Budapest, ending the day with a lovely folk concert AND a dinner cruise on the Danube. The following day we had the priveledge of visiting 4 extremely talented Hungarian artists in their homes..even trying our hands on their artwork. Zoltan is congenial, a very safe driver, adaptable to all situations, and extremely knowledgeable of his city and country. I highly recommend him and his services. His English is excellent. If you are planning a trip to Budapest in the future, I suggest (highly) that you check him out...you won't be sorry.

The 6 in our group HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company. This was the highlight of our trip on the Danube River. We ended in Budapest and Zoltan picked us up at the boat, took our baggage to hotel and started our city tour.
That was already above and beyond! But then he booked our evening cruise to see the lights; ordered our taxi for the trip to to airport the following morning and recommended an authentic Hungarian restaurant!
Zoltan had communicated well in advance asking us what we wanted to see and as we spent time with him, he modified the sights we saw and the routes he took to accommodate our interests.
He is very knowledgeable about Hungarian history and a great story teller.
Best ever!!!!!

Zoltan is a thoughtful, kind, deeply knowledgeable tour guide, with a quiet sense of humor, who knows his way around every corner of Budapest, both literally and figuratively. He is someone with whom everyone will get along, regardless of age. Ahead of time, he set up the tour and meeting logistics meticulously, and offered many tips on how to manage the rest of our Budapest experience. He showed us the classic Budapest, traveling the four corners of the city in a seamless way to give us the highlights, offering informed responses to questions on history, culture, politics, sports etc, and stopping to provide interesting small beautiful spots, as well as the larger picture. He took us to a historic bakery to taste traditional Hungarian pastries, and had many other great insider tips.

He also drove us to Slovenia and was a real pleasure to be with, with insights into how Hungary and Slovenia fit into the larger European universe.
Super quality, you will be happy in every respect if you get to spend time with him!
