Great Tour!

I had a great experience with Absolute Tours in Budapest! The guide was friendly and informative, offering plenty of interesting facts about the city's history and landmarks. The small group size made the tour more personal, and the pace was just right. My only small complaint was that some of the stops could have used a bit more time to explore. Overall, it’s a fantastic way to see the main sights of Budapest, and I’d definitely recommend it!

A great intro to a lovely city

A great few hours being introduced to this beautiful city. Saw sights we would have missed and learnt so much about the history. Esther was our amazing guide for the tour and spoke with great passion and knowledge. The strudel stop was delicious and the tour ended in the Fisherman’s Pastion with beautiful views of the city and river Danube. A lovely few hours and highly recommended

Fantastic introduction to a lovely city

Our guide Andi was excellent. She made our tour interesting and informative. She also expressed her own opinions which I think is a critical part of a good tour guide. It was a good introduction to the highlights of the city and learning how to use the transit system was an added plus. I would highly recommend this tour. Thank you Andi, you love your city and it shows :)

Wonderful, beautiful tour!

Andrea was a wonderful guide. We learned so much about the history of Hungary while taking in beautiful sights. The tour was a great way for us to familiarize ourselves with the Buda Castle area on our first day in the city. Definitely recommend this tour to any visitors, especially first-time, to Hungary!

Amazing Guided Tour with Thomas!

Our family of four has hired dozens of guides all around Europe and Thomas stands out as one of the best. Our kids (10 and 12) were always entertained and all of us learned so much about Budapest while having a great time. We took a private walking tour with Basilica Visit, and even with cold and rainy weather it was fabulous. Highly Recommend!

Greg the Guide is the best! True local experience

Fantastic experience. Greg was great. We had a small group of 3 people, so it was very easy to move around amongst all the tourists. Greg took us on a more local view of the Buda castle area and gave us some great history about the area. Showed us some spots that tourists probably have no idea about! Gave us a great recommendation to go to the Black Raven restaurant in the Buda castle area for a more local experience. Would take another tour with Greg!

E Bike Tour with Yellow Zebra

Yellow Zebra tour with Andrea and the group was lovely!!! Great way to get a birds eye view of the touristy part of the city. Also, really no need for super fitness as E Bike really boosts you up the Buda hill. Totally recommend!

Wonderful way to experience Buda

Andrea was amazing to spend time with and learn about the area, history and life of locals. We never felt rushed and it was much more comfortable than the buses of tours in massive groups. We even received great recommendations for our trip beyond the tour based on our conversations. We felt like friends at the end of the adventure and are so happy we had the experience. Understanding the massive construction and evolution was extremely helpful in enjoying the area through a guide, very happy we didn’t simply wonder around on our own.

A great intro to Budapest

Kop gave our small group (eight pairs of international travellers) a great introduction to Budapest. He was very knowledgeable about both the city's past and present. I like that the tour was not just a top-10 attractions tour that you could get out of any guidebook. The tour took us to spots in the city that we would otherwise have missed (e.g. the bomb-shelter exit, and the statue of George Washington).

The best tour ever!

I recently embarked on the Budapest All-in-One Walking Tour with Strudel Stop, as I personally chose it due to its high rating. To my delight, the experience turned out to be absolutely fantastic! Our guide, Greg, proved to be truly amazing. His extensive knowledge allowed him to effortlessly answer all the questions posed by our group. Moreover, his sense of humor kept the atmosphere friendly and entertaining. Additionally, he went above and beyond to assist us in capturing stunning photos at the most picturesque locations throughout the tour.

Given the incredible experience I had, I am now eagerly planning to book the Buda Castle tour through Absolute Tours. I am confident that it will provide another remarkable adventure, just like the one I had on the previous tour!
