Wonderful venue

What a venue this is. My friend and I decided, on a whim, to venture out of the tourist-orientated parts of Budapest and we were glad we did. We saw a wonderful show that translates roughly to Or My Heart Beat. The performance was perfect. We couldn't understand a word but we understood the story perfectly. The musicians were top-tier.

Staff (and patrons) were friendly and welcoming. The vibe in the bar was super relaxing.

If you want to do something different on your visit, I'd highly recommend.

Great jazz place, if you can go in

I believe it was a very nice jazz club. I say i believe because my first night i was there late, i was told concert was about to finish but was advised to wait and listen to the free jamm session that wouşd take place later: well? Actıal concert continıed for another 50! Minutes, jamm was by some other artists and it was just ok. So Saturday night after struggling on their web page to buy a ticket and not being successfull,i went again this time on time, after waiting in ticket line for 30 minutes, and some guy explaining evetybody something in Hungarian i asked him if i could also know why we were waiting; he just went pffppf and turned around without even bothering to reply me.
Turned out that tickets were sold out, i foumd out from people şn the line
On my last night, in Budapest, i was so disappointed. Very nice jazz bar, very bad service from dome of the people working.

Good music but extremely watery cocktails. My espresso Martini tasted like watered down coffee and my girlfriend’s Mojito didn’t taste like rum at all. When we complained with the bartender she got defensiva rather than apologizing. We’re going to stay away from this place from now on.

Relaxed atmosphere - great service

We visited Budapest Jazz Club on a Thursday evening when the jam session happens - we had a great table and were able to see the musicians as they played. The push button device left on the table was great and the staff were very attentive. Gorgeous cocktails.

Great music

We enjoyed a high quality jazz concert at a relatively low cover charge. The place is frequented by both locals and tourists. Cozy bar outside the concert hall.

Great Jazz friendly staff

We came upon this spot on our first night. Entry was free, drinks reasonably priced and staff very friendly. The music had just finished, so we returned later during our visit to an open mic night. Fabulous music from very talented musicians. If you like music it will be worth the visit.

Great Club, bad air conditioning

Great Jazz club, great sound, intimate atmosphere, almost perfect.But the cold air conditioning blowing in your face is awful. The pianist in the band last night actually put on a heavy jacket he was so uncomfortable. Staff were unhelpful when asked to turn it down or off.This is a great club .. but this problem needs to be sorted out.

Almost the perfect jazz club

This jazz club has it; the idea of the good jazz club. There is the concert hall with live music every day, bistro with jam sessions and nice bar. Prices was reasonable and staff helpful. This is obe reason to travel to Budapest.
