Description:

The Aquaworld is one of the biggest indoor water theme parks in Europe...

The Aquaworld is one of the biggest indoor water theme parks in Europe offers unforgettable entertainment to visitors of every age throughout the year. The adventure centre is covered by a giant dome, 5-storey high and of a diameter of 72 m. It is so big it could host comfortably a family of blue whales, the biggest animals on Earth. The monumental replica Angkor temple surrounded by suspension bridges, towers and pools is a breath-taking sight. The world of the "serene statues" is a perfect counterpoint to the use of the most modern architectural and technical solutions, in line with the Aquaworld conception, to create a modern shrine of aquatic culture offering complex adventures to visitors. Aquaworld is located on the northern outskirts of Budapest, at the Pest abutment of Megyeri Bridge, along the M0 ring, in a green area, yet close to the town centre. It has an outdoor car park with a capacity of more than 1000, easily accessible via the Aquaworld exit of the new Budapest M0 ring.

It was my first time here and I really enjoyed it. You can choose between different type of slides, there are for little ones and hard ones for the brave. You need to wait 5-30 minutes to slide down, but it's worth it. The "Kamikaze" and "Ufo" were my favs. You can find indoor and outdoor pools also, sauna, diving... More

Had a brilliant trip to aqua world a group of 6 of us went. I recommend paying for the full day as 2 hours just wouldn't be enough considering the queues and how many flights of stairs you have to climb for slides. The outside hot pools were very good, it was cold and raining the day we went so... More

The aquapark as such is quite nice and offers both indoor and outdoor areas, plus an array of slides. First warning - most of the slides are accessible only to kids over 130cm (remember to get them a pink bracelet once inside the pool area from a booth to the right as you exit the showers), only two slides are... Went in July with my friends and I was very disappointed. I hurt my knee on a slide and the 'first aid' (which comprised of a table and a first aid box) was awful, gave me ice and applied a bandage very poorly. The food was cheap and nice enough, ticket price was okay but the staff inside didn't give... More

Dont get me wrong! the resort and facilities is fantastic and fun, but the service is terrible. The first thing is that no-one speaks enough english to understand. The second thing is that some of the life guards are really angry and realy mean to you. One of the happenings was on the surf simulator, i had also tried it... More

We loved our stay at Aquaworld resort. The 3-room suites were large and modern, with 2 closed bedrooms (1 king in one room, 2 twin beds in the other, and a sofa bed in the living room), two bathrooms, a fridge and microwave oven and a kitchen table. The air conditioning was not very powerful and sometimes noisy, but not... More

Went to Aquaworld with son on a rainy day (using the free shuttle bus from Heroes Square - check the Aquaworld website for times) and was amazed and the size, great slides, clean, well-maintained pools and general good spec. I think if you have time and are looking for somewhere you can entertain children for a whole day (as long... More

We had an absolutely wonderful time despite the fact that our 7 year olds were not tall enough for any of the slides. They are swim team kids that live by the ocean so swimming is a strong point for them. The staff was kind yet firm that there was no way around the height restrictions. Food was pretty good... More
