This museum was a bit overpriced when I found out how much it was £10 per person but when you walk though, you can have so much fun so I thought it was worth it.
I went late in the evening, after 6pm and we had the whole place to ourselves which was nice as I’d imagine it would be quite busy in the daytime so I probably wouldn’t have been able to get the photos I got. You could easily spend an hour there but if you don’t intend on taking photos, I’d probably give it a miss.

It was very very fun, the rooms are creative and fun and full of potential for cute photos. The staff is really nice, helpful. We had a really good time here. But always come with a full charge, because you will surely take a million photos. Thank you Szilvi ❤️

The museum is really well thought out and has some amazing displays. Such a fun way to spend the afternoon getting pictures and enjoying the Artwork. The museum is very interactive. Was only
€10 euros or so to enter which was really well priced as you can mostly stay as long as you like.

We were really looking forward to going to this museum as a way to kill some time before heading to the airport but we left feeling slightly disappointed. There were 3 girls at the front desk who looked like they would rather be elsewhere. We didn’t realise until we left and saw photos from other customers that there are actually 2 museums (we were at the origin one and didn’t know about the bubbles one). It would have been nice if the girls were advertising the two museums as we definitely would have gone to the other one to use more time up but there was clearly no incentive to get people to go to the other museum. It was pricey. £7.50 per person(that was with a 10% discount with the Budapest card) and we were done within 30 minutes. I don’t know how you would spend any longer than that in there. They recommend 1-2 hours here but I don’t know how you spend that amount of time in there. Some of the rooms are cool but overall we left feeling slightly disappointed. Some of the rooms were also missing objects so it was just an empty room.

We arrived to the museum with 4 children, 3 adults. Right upon entering the woman at the counter was very unfriendly, telling us with disgust that the children shouldnt use the property as playground etc. Our children are 9, 9, 10 and 5. And were decent although enthusiastic. They were not loud, nor were they running around. But the lady came to check upon us several times. When our kids pushed the hanging bananas (which we also told them not to), she came furious telling us that this is a scandal. She was rude, overreacting, clearly unfriendly w children. I dont think a bunch of party youngsters are better... plus the museum can be rented for bday parties. We made good pictures but the rudeness of the staff makes us not willing to come back.

The worst museum I have been to.
I expected to take funny selfies and nada.
Predictable and not fun.
If you want to take pictures/selfies, do it outside, all around the city. That's more fun, for sure.
Can be good for families with children and young teenagers though. If I had children, I wouldn't spend my money to take pictures there.
Big no!

It said on our ticket that it was for 3 hours but we were in and out in 20 minutes. I imagined it was going to be a much bigger place but there was literally 10 small rooms. Most rooms had broken features and were honestly tacky (see photos provided).
Really disappointed with this experience and I wouldn’t recommend for the price. The only good thing about this place was the sprinkle bath.

Aweful, the advertisment for this place makes it seem amazing yet the area is small and old. There are not many areas to take pictures and the building is not well kept. The ball pit is the only good thing about this place and its dirty and small. Overall what a waste of money!! out of the 90 minutes we were there we spent 15 in the place

Overall experience was fun however €10 per person is quite expensive, basically paying that much to take a photo in the ball pit. Also very small confined space. Make sure you get your moneys worth on the photos

No need to be a narcissist in order to fully appreciate this museum. Jokes aside, it's a great museum that makes you temporarily slip back into childhood. You get to jump in a freaking pool full of sprinkles, swing on a huge banana and then take pictures on a unicorn. What else could you ask for?
I enjoyed this visit with my friends, we had a lot of fun and will cherish these memories!
If you need a glittery and colorful break during your stay in Budapest, definitely check it out!

Is it hard to get a selfie? I have no one to go with and want some good pictures but wondered if it’s worth it if you are a solo traveller

No, otherwise they wouldn’t call it the museum of sweets and selfies. And there are always other visitors that want to help, but...then it’s no selfie! 😉
