This is a nice memorial built to commemorate the Soviet soldiers who died during the battle for Budapest against the German and Hungarian armies. It is the only Soviet memorial that I came across in the city as all othere appear to have been moved...More

I value monuments in many ways. They were put there for a reason and this one was for the help that the Soviets gave in getting the Nazi's out of Hungary. Kudos to whomever got this erected.
