Wine Tastings, Wine Events & Wine Tours. Join us for an exploration of Hungary’s world of wine. We keep things simple and emphasize having fun. If you’re hanging around Budapest drop by our tasting room in a boutique wine bar called Parlé. We’ll introduce exciting producers and try local varietals you never knew existed. Daily tastings with 7 great Hungarian wines. Casual, fun ambiance. Customized tours into Wine Country. Registration required

Although I have experience with wines from various parts of the world, I had never experienced wines from Hungary. I was curious as to which grape varieties were grown and under what type of conditions. I had an abundance of questions and was glad to have been recommended by a friend to visit Mark at his winery. Mark showed authentic enthusiasm as he discussed his wines and gave some insights on how the grape from the vine ended up in the bottle(s) we poured. It was a wonderful experience to not only taste these unique wines but to also get involved in part of the production. I can highly recommend visiting Mark but we warned, his passion and commitment are very contagious and you may leave feeling that you need to make wine too!

My husband and I spent a wonderful evening with Mark in his fabulous apartment. We discussed history, politics and, of course, wine! We tried 8 wines and Mark’s homemade spirit, all of which were wonderful.
Mark makes wine himself and is very knowledgeable about Hungarian wines in general and viticulture specifically. A highly recommended experience.

Anytime I travel, I always look for some sort of wine activity. It’s a fun way to get in touch with local lore. Mark’s place was a brilliant mix of exciting wine varieties, fun facts about Hungary, historical tales, tasting tips, and debate on current events. A most unique experience I'd happily repeat!

Hi, I,ve done other wine tasting but must confess this was the best one. Friendly people, lot of knowledge, lesrning and delicious experience. U ll have a ball of a time if u go for it. :)

Wow! This was fun, educational, and casual! Mark walk us through some local Hungarian wines we had never had before. He can speaks towards the wine educational level of each person in the group, getting in depth or keeping it simple. This place is a steal of a deal to boot. Highly recommend it!

Excellent wine experience, tasting and tour! Marc was an outstanding host! He is very passionate and knowledgeable about wine and we learned a ton. The wine tour was very educational and a lot of fun!

It was really amazing. We went to the tasting with 4 people, the Bar Tender made a really individual tasting. He has a well knowledge of wine and could explain us a lot. Furthermore he made snacks with cheese and olives. It was great experience, I certainly can recommend it.

The tasting was so instructive and fun, filled with great anecdotes and stories! The wines were perfectly selected, all of them being excellent. Without a doubt one of the best things I experienced in Budapest!

Mark was an amazing host! He is very experienced and knowledgeable in the industry. I was able to taste a variety of wines from the region, including his own. It was a great experience overall - the atmosphere, the wines and most importantly, the conversations. Definitely a great place for wine tasting. Would like to try their cocktails (not included in tasting) when I’m back next!

We had a wonderful time during our wine tasting - tasted delicious wines and had an interesting conversation. Mark is very knowledgeable and asks about your preferences first and customizes the types of wines for tasting based on a conversation and momentarily inspiration. We tasted types of wines we have never tasted before. Also, the snacks were very delicious. I highly recommend this wine tasting experience.
