Budapest’s answer to the London Eye, the Budapest Eye is immediately noticeable as the London Eye’s offspring being considerably smaller, this of course does not take away from the experience of riding a big wheel in the middle of a major european capital city. After...More

You can have a nice view from the top of the city. If you have kids it’s a nice place to spend some time and also there is a free playground on the side

Budapest eye was relatively cheap at 6900huf for three of us( 22€ approx). It did four full rotations but quite quick. You have to be quick with the camera. Great views but very cold as the pods were not fully enclosed. 20minutes was long enough....More

Great views of the city and relatively cheap attraction to go whilst visiting Budapest, giving you the chance to go around the wheel 3 times and see Budapest for miles around. Quite romantic and worth the price we paid. Recommended if nearby.

Seriously underwhelming experience with underwhelming “views” - lots of building work blocking much of what there is to see. Honestly would save your money and do something else. Plus read a review saying that blankets were a nice touch - we weren’t offered any blankets...More

Good way to see some views. Would recommend doing it if coming to Budapest. Complimentary blanket was a nice touch.

The price for the 2 times round ride on the eye is not worth it. The 3rd time is stop start to let people on and off. It tells you it’s 8 mins in total which sounds fine, until you get on. Wouldn’t recommend it,...More

It lights up the skyline and visible from many places. Long queue to wait over the weekend. It goes around 3 times for each rider. Very shaky and feels quite ‘scary’. Not recommended for everyone. About 8EUR for students and 9EUR for adults.

District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube,
with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The
Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica
stand out as two of the finest examples of
architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for
more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval
city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while
the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention
