This is just a little grassy part of the street, rather than a true square.
There's nothing unique about it, other than the statue of the Independence war.

As one can see in the pictures, it's a small grassy area with a statue.
You walk by it on your way to the Bastion or Mathias Church, but there really isn't anything there.

This is a green space that contains the Statue of the Independence War at one end. It is in the part of Buda known as Castle Hill.

It's really just a small grassed square when the road splits. Nothing really special about it other then the small statues there.

The Dísz square is an has an elongated shape plaza, in the 1st District, in the central part of the Castle District. It bordered by one and two-story old dwelling houses. Most of them were damaged or ruined during the second world war and was rebuilt or renovated. Their facades are mostly baroque, or classicist style.Probably the most valuable baroque palace is the No 15, De la Motte-Beer Palace. The No 13 house's main characteristic is the classicist façade and the three small reliefs located above the upper windows.
At the end of the square is the reconstructed former High Command of Honvéd building, serving as an exhibition hall. In 2015 there was the Csontváry Kosztka Tivadar exhibition.
From both Széll Kálmán square and Deák square can be easily reached by bus No16.

This one is up the hill and on the way to the main site seeing things. It's a nice square and worth walking thru.

With the funicular out of action the number 16 bus was the obvious and cheapest option to visit Castle Hill. Stopping at Disz Square you are very central for access to the upper reaches, including the church and Fishermans Bastion. Equally you can wander downhill to the palace. There are shops and cafes on the square and a tourist information office close by. To return to the river level take the footpaths with steps or you can catch the bus back.

Disz Square occupies a central area of of Budapest's Castle Hill. Surrounded on all sides by residential, 19th century (or much older) buildings, it is where the roads from the lower levels of the city abut on both the East and West side. On the South side, you see the Royal Castle complex, including today's Presidential palace. To the North, the elongated rectangular shape of Disz Square takes you towards Matthias' Church, the Statue of the Holy Trinity, Fisherman's Bastion and the Hilton hotel. Disz Square is largely a pedestrian area, although taxis and buses are allowed in. It can be reached by public transportation (bus line 16A). Its name originates from the parades the Palace Guards used to hold, although originally it was called St. George Square, and later St. Stephen's square and Main Square at different times in history. This area of town was originally settled in the early middle ages and some of the remaining buildings still have commemorative plaques and partial walls that remind the visitor of its antiquity. However, the Square has suffered irreparable damage throughout history, first during the Turkish occupation, then through the battle of the reconquest in the XVII century, then in the middle XIX century and again during WWII. A city tour that starts on Disz Ter will point out a few buildings of historical importance, but the current buildings date mostly to the XIX and mid-XX centuries,
