Very quiet and calm place in Budapest aware from all the tourists.

Views from the top are good , peaceful sights of the river.

I discovered this Ziggurat by accident. I proposed to see all the 9 bridges that link Buda de Pesta and, near Racokzi Bridge, I discovered this unusual construction. At first you may think that it is a playground for children, but if you go up to the ziggurat peak (it is an easy climb) you will have a different view of Budapest. The area is modernly built and the National Theater and Ludwig Museum look great. Ziggurat viewing is free.

Having come down through so pretty impoverished streets this area shows what modern Hungary can be - great landscaping interesting design enjoyable views. You will enjoy it if you get here.

We were early for a show at the National Theatre and walked around the grounds. This ziggurat is part of the grounds and is a fun thing to walk up and view the Danube, Budapest and also the National Theatre and the Concert Hall which is next door. Incline was not too steep so wheel chair accessible but it would be a bit of work to get to the top!
