I did the medieval room, there were 2 of us and at first we thought we needed more people but no matter how many people are in each team it's still a fun experience and something so different!! I would definitely recommend it to absolutely anyone! The staff are lovely too and helpful without giving the game away! Best activity we did in budapest by far!!!

We played the Medieval game at the Paulay Ede utca 20 location. So much fun! Our Game Master, Anna, was lovely and available to help throughout (we needed her advice on two occasions). We managed to escape just in time.

TRAP can be booked online and is paid in cash after you complete the game. Like most other escape rooms we looked into in Budapest, it was priced per session rather than per person (which makes total sense, although as a couple it didn't really fit into our budget to return for more - although we would've liked to!). This game was 12,000HUF (c. £35-£40) which seemed around the norm for the top rated escape rooms. We saw another which was priced at 8,000HUF for 2 people but it was fully booked on the day.

All in all, one of the best activities we got up to during our week in Budapest - would definitely recommend you visit one of their rooms!

3-generations of our family did the Egyptian room one night after dinner. None of us had ever done an Escape Room before, but we all love puzzles and challenges. We had a blast! Anna was a fantastic host. Her excitement and encouragement enhanced our experience, and a few nights later when we had planned to go to the opera, we decided to go back to the Escape Room again instead. That time we attempted the Amazon room. Highly recommended for those who like puzzles and racing against a clock. Wish we could go back to do another!

Me and my girlfriend did the Medival "trap". Nothing authentic about this place. It says on the webpage that it has best "design" of all the traps. Still I didnt find it much medival atmosphere there at all. Pure tourist trap ripping 12000 forint (~40?) out of your pocket for one our puzzles which uses both magnets, electricity and other modern methods to solve the puzzles. Much of it is a pure ripoff of the Claustrophilia puzzle which I find tragic.. The last door also uses a codeboard (like in ATM's) which collides with the whole medievil feeling of the room. You dont feel trapped at all actually..Try Claustrophilia - half the price and the real deal instead.

Visited on the 26th of August where we played the Egyptian game. We found the game challenging but the facilitator (tall guy) was extremely helpful and very patient with us. Fun for all ages and a very different (but amazing) activity to do whilst in Budapest. Less than £30 for an hour, a third of what I have paid for a similar game in London! Around a ten minute walk from Daek Ferenc square.

We enjoyed both the Medieval and Egyptian games - our 2 boys, ages 12 and 14 were in their element! Lots of lateral thinking challenges kept us on our toes. Lovely welcome by Peter enhanced the experience.

The bride to be on our hen weekend organised this for all the girls to do late one evening and advised that it was a little 'surprise'. I must confess I wasn't looking forward to it when we realised what it was. However,we divided into two teams there were 10 of us in total and half went into the Egyptian Room and the others went into the Medieval Room and it was a race against time. Well, what an absolutely fantastic hour we spent, trying to solve all the puzzles in each room. Think of the TV series the Crystal Maze and you will be quite close. The puzzles were challenging and for us getting to know others on our hen weekend it was a great icebreaker as we all had to work together. We all left wishing we could spend another hour in the other room! Whole heartedly can recommend this activitiy. Its perfect for team building events, like ours and family challenge events but I don't think it would be suitable for very young children or those frightened of the dark.

We went to the Egypt trap as a group of colleagues, who didn't know what was waiting for them. All were really excited. As the challenges are so different to each other, it is good to have people with different talents in the team. Everyone can contribute to solving the puzzles. I must admit we got some help when we got a bit stuck, but just so much that we could continue on our own. The guy spoke fluently English and was very friendly. I can recommend this to anyone! And don't be scared of getting claustrophobia. You can get out at any time in case you should feel 'trapped'.
Our other team did the Medieval trap and it was fun to see how different the games were to each other. I'd definitely come again to try out the other traps.

Group of 8 guys we did the Egypt and medieval rooms and all had an excellent time, we found the puzzles highly entertaining and very stimulant of the mind, even slightly arousing. Recommend this to anybody visiting the city.
