We hadn't worked our how were getting from the airport to the hotel but as we came out to collect our bags there was a stand for Budtransfer so we enquired and it was going to be 40 euros for the two of us there and back so we booked it, It was in a minivan with up to 6 other people but it would drop us at the door of the hotel and pick us up from there. They gave us a receipt with the time of our pick up when were coming back. On our return I had a text saying the pick up time was 15 min later than they originally said and I had this text 3 hours before so gave us a bit of extra time and the driver arrived on the dot and got us to the airport with plenty of time, I would highly recommend them.

Booked prior to going away and same price booking whilst away.
A slight wait at the airport but due to parking etc it was expected.

Our flight to Budapest was delayed at Edinburgh by 3&1/2 hours (!!!) once we had actually boarded the plane because of ground staff mixing up bags. Nightmare.
I honestly didn’t even expect our taxi to be there at Budapest as we were so late, & was worrying how I was going to manage to find my way into the city with my elderly parents in tow.
Imagine my surprise when we got through to the exit & there was my name on a board. A quick 5 minute wait there whilst our taxi was organised then a friendly driver helped us load up our bags & took us to the hotel door.
Thank You Budapest Transfers! Very impressed.

I would give no stars if I could. Booked for a transfer ages ago and have been in correspondence with them ever since and still failing to get any satisfaction. They seem to be unable to follow any of their own booking conditions and and will do anything to avoid rebooking, refunding or even apologising. They have even told me they have refunded me when they haven't and promised instead a free booking anywhere in Europe. This came from the director of the company who operate Budtransfer, Kraken Travel. Thanks for the offer Daniel but I'm still waiting. Further emails have been ignored and I feel obliged to warn others of my experience. If they can't handle a simple booking change, I'm not sure you could rely on them getting a man in a taxi to turn up at the airport. They still have my 54 euros of course and have delivered nothing for it. Email trail available.

Our plane was delayed, I got a message before take off saying they may not be able to pick me up as the flight was late. Why bother monitoring the flights if you aren’t going to bother turning up. I then had a message when I landed to say they weren’t coming. They asked if I wanted the return trip still and I didn’t want to risk being let down again so I cancelled that too. They said they have refunded me, but I have not received a refund and now they are not even responding to me. 24 hour customer service? I think not! My advice, use the taxi stand outside the airport who give you set rates. Uber and Bolt also operate in Budapest.

I have been absolutely unhappy with this service. I do use often airport transfers and this is the worse I have ever seen. The meeting system is a mess. 3 international calls to find the driver, more expensive than the transfer itself. She was waiting in the wrong terminal, what do you track the flight for? You said the driver was going to call, but she didnt speak a word of english. Do you assume all tourists will show up with a local sim card and speaking hungarian? The car was small and dirty. Bad driver. Drives dangerous and faster than a car race. She made me feel uncomfortable the whole time. I sent an email of complain and they didnt even bother to answer back. Sorry but never again I will use your services

Driver from the airport to city centre really poor, always well above the speed limit, overtaking on the right, calling his friends on the mobile, breaking late. Driver to the airport a bit better still above speed limits in most places. And why have a radio program in hungarian on when all turists do not understand it? How about some pleasant and calming music? Vans clean. Late at pick up by 25 mins.

Scam! I payed for my fare in advance, but no one picked me up at the airport.
When I called the "customer service" I was told that the driver waited too long.
Escalation: non existent. Proper customer service: non existent.
Refund: non existent.

Hello,
it is clearly written in your booking confirmation, that we can wait maximum 60 minutes. As every airport transfer providers worldwide.
You did not even bother to call our driver that you are in a queue and you will not make it within 60 minutes.
Our driver had to call you after he waited one hour.
After one hour we can still wait, but obviously you have to pay an extra fee for this.
Our driver offered you this option, but you refused it.
I believe this is a very clear situation.
By the way you paid us a fixed fee of 18 euro. With fotaxi you do not pay a fix fee, as they use the taxi meter and the usual price is 25-35 euro.

We have booked a round transfer by the time we arrived at the airport. We paid 24 euros for four persons. The process was very easy and the driver very polite. They left us in front of the hotel.
Besides that the driver was exactly at the promised time in front of our hotel.
Highly recommended!

Our flight was late and our luggage was lost. We needed to queue and report the lost luggage before we could go meet our driver. He was so patient and understanding. He was a great communicator via text and calls while he was waiting for us. Great driver and very helpful. Thank you for getting us to our hotel safely. I would highly recommend

first of all we are not miniBUD. miniBUD provides a shared transfer. We are BUDtransfer. We provide private transfers.
If you book online, the confirmation is instant and the service is guaranteed. If you did not receive the confirmation email, it can have three reasons and the solution:
1, you misspelled your email address in the online booking form
Solution: send us an email and we will resend you the booking confirmation to your correct email address
2, the confirmation email is in your spam folder (very often happens with hotmail)
Solution: check your spam folder
3, your email provider uses a very strong firewall and any email we send you is blocked (this is rare but happens)
Solution: send us an email with an alternative email address, or you can also send us an sms (text message to our emergency number
In any of the above cases your booking is confirmed. If you filled in all details and made a successful payment, you don't need to worry, your driver will wait for you.

Hello, we are sorry for not replying sooner. We are new to Tripadvisor and did not notice this feature yet. We will keep an eye on this in the futute.
If you haven't received your confirmation email, it can have three reason and the solution:
1, you entered the wrong email address - write us an email
2, the confirmation email is in the spam folder (very typical among hotmail users) - check your spam folder regularly
3, your email server has a very strict firewall, that blocks our emails - write us an email from an alternate email address, preferably gmail
Unfortunately we have no influence on the above. Our system is automated and all bookings are confirmed instantly after the successful online payment.
It happened that someone wrote us with the above case, and we tried to reply him several times, but all emails came back. So we tried to call - no answer. We sent sms (text message) - no answer... Please make sure, you answer our call or sms, so we can help you.

Hello, very sorry for late response. You can always check prices at our website by starting a reservation. Immediately on the second page you will see vehicle options and prices. For 4 passengers you may like a car (25 euro), an MPV (small minivan or monoseater) (31 euro) or a minivan (34 euro). Please vivist our website, start to make the booking and you will see the options.
