A friend in my study abroad program booked this party for us and it was a great plan for a large group of students. The cost for all-you-can-drink wine, beer, and prosecco was €35, which is expensive or cheap depending on how much you are planning to drink. However, the boat party lasts 2.5 hours so it ends up being worth it if you have a couple drinks. The boat takes you back and forth on the Danube and you get stellar views of the Parliament building and the Buda Castle at night. The boat itself was a little chaotic, so if you are more into a casual boat ride this may not be the attraction for you. If you are studying abroad and looking for a fun thing to do at night, I highly recommend this because you will make some great memories!

Thanks for taking the time to leave us this review! This is definitely a boat PARTY and not a boat cruise. Guests can expect a lot of drinking, a big dance party and to meet fellow travelers - all with the wonderful views that we pass by. But we do agree with you - if someone is looking for a casual boat ride this is not the event for them!
We do love all of the study abroad students and think this is perfect for anyone who wants to do some sightseeing along with their partying. Glad you and your friends had a great time :)

A really fun and different idea for a night out! The staff were friendly and well organised. The view from the top deck is gorgeous. Would recommend paying for the unlimited drinks offer it's great value for money for 3 hours. Ace idea for a night out we had such a good time!

This is the 1st time I've used party bus tours. I wish I could use this service twice during my travel. From start to finish, the process was seamless and the plan was completely professional and extremely joyful. Big shout out to Naz (one the best host ever) for being a party host and making sure everyone had a great time - was a blast!

I made some friends on the walking tour who were already headed for this and decided to come along. I soon came to regret that. The music was cringy, the booze tasted cheap and the crowd was...not my scene. The view was fantastic though, and if you are 18 (physically or mentally) you might find this to be a great time.

We're sorry this was not your scene. This is definitely a boat PARTY and not a cruise. Our guests are usually 18 - 30 years old but come to drink, dance and party as they see the beautiful sights go by. Next time you might want to book a normal boat cruise which will be more your scene.

Wow, I just had the BEST time at an event organized by Party Bookers. I honestly can't stop raving about it!
First off, the vibe was amazing. From the music to the lights, everything was so much fun and created such a cool atmosphere. And the activities they had planned throughout the night and even after the party ended was so much fun - I never wanted the night to end.
But what really blew me away was the staff. It was clear that Tal brought so much energy to the table. He created a enjoyable space where everyone can feel welcomed to bring out the lively part of themselves and this energy brought so many people together. I have created friendships with people from around the globe from all the events I attended and enjoyed his engaging and positive energy in all the events he was at.
Plus, the team was so friendly and helpful throughout the night. They really went above and beyond to make sure everyone was having a good time and that everything was running smoothly.
Overall, I would definitely recommend Tal and the Party Bookers team to anyone looking to attend an awesome event. You won't be disappointed!

We are 3 ladies who celebrated my 40th birthday in Budapest. Despite the fears of partying with young students and hearing European techno music when we first arrived, the party boat was exactly that! There is never not enough alcohol and no que at the bar as they are laid out so you can help yourself if you paid for inclusive drinks. I was pleasantly surprised to see a cash bar which meant you could buy alternative drinks to beer, wine and prosecco. The music was varied and from current chart music to the maccarenna old 80s music. There is a free cloak room, but the glitter stall does charge a small fee. Annie from bookers looked after us especially at the end ensuring we got into the after party.

The best part about this entire experience was the social atmosphere. As a solo traveler I went hoping to meet people to make my trip interesting. Our tour guide Alev went above and beyond to make sure we were all ready for the plans coming ahead. She interacted with us great, making it seem like she was part of the group and not just a worker. I would recommend to her to anybody as the people she helped introduce me to will definitely be life long friends!

I absolutely adored Mira and all the other PartyBookers staff, they made the experience so much better! The music kept getting better over each hour and everyone on the party was friendly and fun. It was a good experience.

This boat party was fantastic - the kind of boat party that you don’t want to end. It took us around the river and we got to see the city lit up at night. So beautiful. The DJ was also great and played fun music. My favorite part was the face paint with Beka. She was so sweet and very creative, and totally made the party more fun! Would def be doing this again if I’m ever back in Budapest! :)

I went to the boat party on Friday night, it was amazing!! Even though it was raining, the guides did their best to keep the party going all night. The entire work team was incredible, especially Katya who was with the best energy and willing to help in any situation.

Is this experience friendly for solo travelers who are not from a hostel?

Hey! There are lots of solo travelers on board so I think it's pretty easy to make friends. Especially when there's an open bar involved, a little liquid courage can go a long way. However you can always meet our party guides at Wombats Hostel - they leave with a small group from the lobby at 9:30PM on any boat party days. It really depends on which boat party you choose. Friday and Saturday nights are usually busier than parties at the beginning of the week. In January we've been averaging 100-200 guests per night.
If you come on with a good attitude, it's impossible not to have fun. Unlimited drinks, amazing views, good music, and international crowd...
