We visited during winter time and most of the trees and flowers outside were in hibernation so we didn't see much. Inside the greenhouses though everything was beautiful. I also bought a small cacti to bring back for 0.60 euros. It's outside the city, by...More

A great place to visit if you are tired of all the mainstream attractions. There is a discount for students too. I assume it would be even nicer when the flowers are in bloom, but the autumn atmosphere is beautiful too, I guess that is...More

One of several in Budapest, this botanical garden offers a glance to some olden days of The Empire, with lots of interesing plants and corners.

A little out of town but worth the 30 minute bus journey, we enjoyed an hour or so in these tranquil gardens with impressive hothouses. A shame there were no facilities for refreshments.

Very relaxing and beautiful. Plants are well maintained by employees and they are welcome for any kind of questions. We went in a work day so it was’not crowded. Beautiful greenhouses with a lot of plants. It’s a must see.

I found it very romantic even if it's better to go in spring. There is a little pond with a passage of rocks. There are also greenhouses with a plenty of carnivore plants, cactuses, huge tropical trees and orchids.

I wasn't impressed by the number of specific botanical creatures and the workers could pay more attention to the environment. Despite this, I enjoyed my visit and saw a huge palm tree I adored.
