About
I am an experienced guide in Budapest. I really love my job and I am trying to show you in a flexible way according to your interest. I have mainly cultural tours but I can show you the small markets ans the art-nouveaux style buildings too. We can go by public transportation means, walking or by car as you wish. I also have tours outside the capital, like the Danube Bend, the Sissi palace.

I came to visit a friend I had not seen in 25+ years. Csilla introduced me to Erna, and we all were treated to a whirlwind tour of Budapest that was just fantastic! Erna was knowledgeable and open to diversion. She gave us options on where we could go given our timetable and proximity to various historic sites and the eateries nearby. Delicious foods and lucious desserts with coffee and teas. My favorite spots were the St Mathias Church, Dohany Synagogue with the weeping willow memorial, Dracula's Castle, and the underground tunnels, some of which were used as a hospital by the Natzis in WWII. Very interesting and well worth the time! If you have the opportunity, book with this group, they bring history to life!! Loved my trip to Budapest!!!

Thank you very much. It was also for me a pleasure to be with you. As this was your first visit and you had so many days here, not like an average tourist, who come just for 1-2 days, that's why we could visit all the important monuments and also hidden streets in the jewish district. Of course if a client comes for one week or two, can get acquainted with our gastronomy, home made food, cakes, spicies, markets. I am so happy you remember all the details too. I hope you come back once...

We hired some electric scooters from Etours budapest for an hour, it was great! Rode to parliament and back whilst seeing some lush views. Price was reasonable too!

Great Fun. Flora was so friendly and set us up as quickly as possible so that we could see as much of the island and enjoy the e-scooter. Really good fun, simple and very lovely staff. Great experience. Thank you.

I hired Erna to show me around the Jewish quarter. She was amazing. She has a great fund of knowledge of Jewish history. She took me to places that are not in the guidebook, including the best place for Jewish traditional cake. The 4 layers are filled with plum jam, nuts, apple, poppy seed. I sent photos home.

For my first trip to Budapest I wanted to take a tour that highlighted the best of Buda and Pest. Erna, my tour guide, was a Godsend. She is so knowledgeable in everything Hungarian. She gave me history lessons that intrigued me to know more and she also gave me the time to take as many pictures as I liked. So many other tour guides limit this to a few minutes but for a tourist these are memory's we like to capture with photos. By the end of this tour I felt like Erna and I not only shared the history of Hungry but we shared a kinship. I now consider her family and that to me is priceless. Thank you Erna

Faboulus two-day trip with Erna Molnar on Budapest! She is an excellent guide tour with great knowledge about Budapest's history and interesting points. Visited places I have never been before and heard data I did not know about my beautiful capital city. I lived in Cuba and US for many years - and Erna made the tour to my friends both in English and Spanish fluently. Thanks a lot, Erna!

We will be in Budapest on July 19th and will be staying at the Sofitel Budapest Chain Bridge Hotel at Szechenyi Istvan ter 2.
Are you giving a tour that day? At what time? What do you cover? And how do we get to you from our hotel? What is the price of your tour for two people and is the tour in English?
All the best,
David

Hi David! I am free on 19th of July. My rate for a halfday tour on foot is 100,.euros/3-4 hour in the centre. If you want by car then plus the car fee. Of course by car you can see more as the distances are big in Budapest. I can go to the hotel to start there. Of course in English and I am flexible so we can visit the highlights according to your interest.. Kind regards Erna Molnar
