Wow what a great way to experience the afternoon into the evening in Budapest with Bogi! She is refreshingly dry and honest and hilarious, and really tailored our time with her to suit our interests. We had chosen the ruin bar walking tour, and Bogi was pure entertainment the whole way. You simply must request Bogi for a fun, informative and interesting trek through this beautiful city. She absolutely started our first night off with good times and a thorough introduction to Budapest that had us set up for the following few days.

I was traveling to Budapest for the first time with my mother, sister and son. I found bsidetours website and thank goodness I did. They arranged airport transfers and a city tour with Bogi on our first day there. She was great! I can’t say enough good things about her. Her English was perfect and she’s quite funny. Her tour was informative and personal at the same time. No one wanted the tour to end. She really went above and beyond showing us how to get metro tickets and explaining where the stops were, helping me make dinner reservations, and arranging a ride so we could visit cousins outside the city. We loved Bogi so much we booked another tour with her on our last day. We will definitely be back and will certainly use bsidetours tours and Bogi of course!

We only had four hours and decided to book a minivan tour with B Side Tours because of the good reviews on Tripadvisor. The tour was amazing. Judit, our guide was so knowledgeable. She told us about history, art, literature,gastronomy... Anything. She had good answers for all of our questions. She combined the minivan with short walks which made the tour fantastic. We learned a lot and were very satisfied!!!

I had the privilege of touring Budapest with B Side's Bogi the other year. She knows the city's history like the back of her hand and is quick to point out interesting factoids and landmarks while strolling through its picturesque streets (ranging from WWII and Cold War history to "Katy Perry recently filmed a music video right here!"). I had the privilege of eating like a king at hip eateries (e.g. Bors GasztroBar) and local markets, biking to less explored areas, and reveling in Budapest's unique ruin pub scene (e.g. Szimpla Kert). I'd highly recommend B Side and especially Bogi to prospective travelers visiting this unique and fascinating city!

Best tour I have ever had! I had to reschedule the tour last minute and Bside was so accommodating! Bogi was my awesome (and private!) guide and she even picked me up from my place which was so convenient. We took the tram across and spent a few hours exploring the Buda side of the city. You will not find a more knowledgeable and thoughtful team. They know the city and care. I felt like I got so much useful and really cool information from Bogi that I wouldn’t have gotten on another tour or anywhere else. They can also customize it exactly to what you want to do, how great is that? A day after our tour, Bogi sent me an email with an overview and her unique recommendations (I asked about very specific things and she delivered!). If you come to Budapest, don’t do any other tour, call Bside!

Can't say enough great things about B Side Tours! Owner/operator Bogi speaks multiple languages (her English is fantastic) and knows the city like the back of her hand. She really went above and beyond for us, hanging out for dinner and drinks and showing us the best local restaurants and bars.
When it came to getting around, she knew all the ins and outs of the public transit system which greatly sped up our travel time AND reduced our cost to get around. Don't hesitate to book with B-Side!

My friend Julia and I did two walking tours in two days with B Side Tours during our short stay in Budapest. I'd heard about B Side Tours on a podcast with world traveler Andy Steves. He interviewed our tour guide, Bogi, and after listening I knew it was something I was interested in. When visiting the website it was hard to choose what we wanted to do, but it felt necessary to see the Buda side and Pest side. I'm glad we did! Bogi met us outside where we were staying and showed us around via foot and public transportation. We covered a lot of ground, saw so much beautiful architecture and landscapes, and learned a ton about the history of Budapest. Bogi is laid back, funny, and very well-read about her city. I seriously could just randomly point at something and she would give me the entire backstory- which is great because there is so much planning and symbolism in the art and other structures that cover the city. Bogi had great suggestions of ruin bars, restaurants, and the baths in Budapest. I had a great time. There is no way I would have seen and learned so much while in Budapest on my own.

My guide for the tour was absolutely wonderful, knowledgeable, and nice to talk to.
The tour was long enough to cover plenty of information, without overkill

This was my third day in Budapest so Bogi customized this private tour for us based on what we'd already seen and what would be of interest to us, pointing out things we would've missed on our own. So we got to see some really cool off-the-beaten-path sites with in-depth and often humorous commentary! Bogi's personality is brilliant! She really made my day, though, when she took me to a bakery where I could get fresh-baked gluten-free breads and pastries! She also suggested we visit Gellert Baths and Spa after the tour, which we did, and it was the perfect ending to a perfect day. Highly Recommend!
