It is a long street to walk through the city. About the half of it is only accessible by foot or bike. The bicycle lanes anyhow cover pretty much the whole city and surrounding areas. You can find shops, cafes and restaurant along the Andrassy street. At one end is the train station, at the other one is the city hall, a nice square and the beautiful catholic church of the city. At summer you have an outdoor stage with different programs.

Large open space with no cars which leads into the main shopping area. Beware the bicycle lanes. In the summer this space is lovely for people watching especially when events ( musical etc) are held here on the outdoor stage.

Nice walk in town. Friendly people. Great coffee shops, good food and beer selections. Spent 8 days in Bekescsaba and it was excellent!

Peaceful walk. Great coffee shops. Here time has a different dimension. You can really slow your engine and enjoy life.
