This is hans down one of the best museums I've ever visited. It has a facinating collection of shells, snails and other sea animals you don't even think would exist. Also the owner is amazing and funny which makes it even 10 times more interesting.

It is amazing to see how a few dedicated individuals were able to put together a beautiful shell museum like this one. That is very motivating.

The museum has an extensive collection of shells, from the very tiny to the big ones. It is a bit cramped to walk around, because the museum only has 2 rooms completely filled with glass display cases. But interesting to visit if you are in...More

Small museum with big collection of Shells. According to the information of the curator, it's the only one of such kind in Slovenia. If you know a little bit about the underwater this is the right place to know much more:). We recommend to visit.

Going up the stairs in to the relatively small museum we don't know quite what to expect - we have been caught out in the past by small, specialist museums, but definitely not this time. It is packed with a vast array of different shells,...More
