Located on the outer edges of the old town at the confluence of river Ljubljanica, this park is very popular with the locals, especially on sunny day, where the deck chairs become very popular.

Špica is nice location the end of the path along Ljubljanica from the Dragon's Bridge. There is a view to main riverbed with trees at the side and boats from time to time and to the side canal, named after Gruber. You can proceed to Botanični vrt or stop for a drink. Bar near the river is useful but nothing special.

I love this place where Ljubljanica river splits in two parts - one flowing as a channel through old part of Ljubljana. Nce to walk there all the way from Presern square.... And it is worth to cross the pedestrian bridge and visit Botanical garden.

There is a nice looking bar in Špica, owned by a renomated slovene gastronomy company. But its not too nice... Strawbery margerita is the eorse drink I had in a while. so stick with a beer, its more difficult to get disappointed!!!

Relaxed place for some refreshing drinks next to the river. They have some nice cocktails but also a good selection of all kinds of other drinks, ice cream etc.

Not too far from the centre towards the botanic garden, a wonderful oasis with lounge chairs and affordable cocktails right on the canal. A must for lazy sunny Sunday!

Take a leisured stroll by Ljubljanica river and you will come to place called Špica, which means "point" as it looks like one from a bird perspective. It is said, that it used to be Ljubljana's beach. Nowadays people don't swim in river anymore but they still come to sit or lay down and just take their time to enjoy idleness. In summer you can find modest bars on barges on the other side of the riverbank. Bike racks and Bicikelj station are available next to a footbridge for pedestrians and bicyclists towards Ljubljana's small botanical garden.
