A scene out of this world

I had previously visited Ljubljana on a quiet, couply type of holiday. Went back alone, because I love the place (it is stunning) but was concerned that it can get quiet at closing time. WHAT WAS I THINKING? Found out about this place, and now I can only say that if you go to Ljubljana this is up there with... More

I loved all of the colors, the scenes the vibrancy. I enjoyed my time here when there were just a handful of young people just hanging out. It felt more like an urban park than a centre. My only regret is not being able to see this place at full steam with a party. It was amazing during the day.... More

An alternative and artistic place. It was a prison, it became a Little district with an hostel and several bars and clubs. All the structures are Covered by graffiti. There is always something to do at night and Beers and drinks are very cheap

Really amazing art style, with a very different atmosphere. It is a place for people looking for something more underground and far from the tipical tourist places.

Metelkova is different. Its rebelious heart still beats after years of teardown tryouts by local government in name of profit. Ex army imprisonment cells and barracks turned into small concert halls and galleries. Also a home to many underground artists and popular place for young people. The webpage they run is informative and provides list of ongoing concterts for a... More

A walk through here actually requires 5 walks through here so that you can spot all the different things that are around the place. So much to see, and so many wacky things to take in! Well worth the walk or ride out to here, and just make sure you have enough time to sit and take it all in.

This is a great place to enjoy a beer, to dance, to meet people. This is the freedom neighborhood. Here you will find different kind of music and bars. For sure something will be good for you.
