The Roman walls are in various sites around the city and you can easily do a tour of the Roman areas. The walls were interesting for seeing the city, but not the most impressive of Roman walls.
Worth a look if you're touring the city.

It's not the original wall. It's a renovation done with bits of the original wall.
The coolest bits have nothing to do with the roman wall and our embellishments by local architect hero Joze Plecnik.
It's really not worth the walk or even a slight detour.
If you have the time, and want to see actual roman ruins, I'd suggest the Emonan House near by.

If you are heading that way, then do stop by and see the walls. Bear in mind that they are a reconstruction. We spent no more than 2 minutes there.

The actual walls are reconstructions. The pyramid of stone is heavily weathered and not attractive despite being comparatively new. There is a lack of information about the wall itself. Unfortunately the area is ridden with drug addicts who seem to group up under the pyramid. Overall 1/5 dont bother

There isn't anything majestic here, but the implementions of Plecnik's view on the old walls is really nice. It gives you a peacful feeling and you get away from the crowds to get some rest. If you aren't tired of walking all day, walk a little bit more to this place.

These walls have been reconstructed to give some idea of what they were like in the Roman city of Emona many centuries ago. There's not really that much to see and everything looks quite modern, although the location is quite peaceful.

The city of Ljubljana has more Roman history than I ever could have imagined. It's said that no matter where in the city you dig, it will take forever to build anything because you will no doubt find a piece of Roman pottery, jewelry or buildings. The Roman Wall shows where the ancient city of Emona once ended, but it's just one of many things you can find to see Roman history in present day Ljubljana. The walls can be hard to find, but once you do, it's worth a picture or two.

The Roman walls are inconspicuous enough to be sort of tricky to find--but we finally came upon them. It's nice for a quiet walk and interesting to see the historic ruins -- but not a major attraction in the city. Of course, that's not a bad thing at all. I rated it a 3 because it's not a "wow" factor.

You can happen on the Roman remains accidentally, if turning away from the Old town and wandering around, or you may take a map, follow the pointers in the streets and find all archaeological parks with parts of Emona wall and other Roman remains. The latter will need time, however, though it may be fun even with children – kind of geocashing. Pity that Emona heritage is comparatively little advertised for tourists. Note, that some objects have entrance fee.
