We didn't mean to go to market but just wandered in on Saturday morning. A whole row of organic food stalls! Enough fruit and veg to feed a city! Tons of clothes! The smell of the fresh fruit is extraordinary, the whole market square is bathed in it. Lots to see, browse or buy. Tired feet? Lots of cafes around the square. Short of clothes? Great bargains to be had, I bought a vey nice casual shirt. We passed through on a tuesday afternoon too, far fewer stalls but still useful if you wanted to buy.

We visited on a Tuesday morning in early June. Many stalls were empty, with the clothing section containing more vendors. I felt the prices were very expensive,or both fruit and clothing. with punnets of Cherries starting at 5€.

We stayed in Ljub for a week self catering so this was one of the first places we visited. The excellent fruit and vegetable outdoor area had produce way better than the supermarkets in the old town. Prices didn't seem to be cheap but the strawberries we bought were the best, even better than French ones. We got chicken from the inside market which looks a bit tired and there's not a lot of choice of vendors. Whilst we had trouble finding the fish market which is downstairs under the Collonades riverside, we found a very friendly fishmonger and his fish was excellent. Always worth a wander, there are heaps of places to get a bite to eat or have a drink in the sunshine.

We didn't buy anything, but enjoyed going for a walk and taking some pictures. Plenty of fruit, vegetables ... stalls, but also clothes, some "souvenirs" ... Also indoor market for meat, fish, cheese, bread ... Under the arcades many options to sit down and order food. During Euro24, public viewing closeby.

Interesting market with a little bit of everything. We bought some fruits to take home and also ended up having lunch here. There is a little area with food trucks and a seating area. We all tried different foods and all was good.
