I was in Ljubljana for just 1 day. We paid the Ljubljana tourist card, which gives you lot of benefits. After a guided tour and other stuff in the city, we walked to the park. There is a cafe where you can eat ice cream and cool down.

It's a nice park, perfect for walking or jogging. You can go to Rožnik from there, or go jogging. They usually have photographic exhibitions in the park.

The park is very popular with locals, but most of the time you can enjoy it in peace and quiet, surrounded only by nature. It is perfect for hanging out with friends when you get fed up with crowds in the city centre, or if you have to take your dog for a walk or you want to go running.

On a hot day I spent about an hour in the park. It was nice, long walks around the area but nothing special. The bar in the art museum had a fast & free wifi, in case you need one.

15 min walk from the town center will get you to the park. Easy and safe access through a pedestrian tunnel under the boulevard and the train railways. Kids will appreciate the play area while the adults can enjoy the photo exhibition. Worth adding on the "To Do List" while visiting Ljuljana.

What a wonderful park. It's huge and there's a lot to do. There was free art for children the day we were there. The kids also enjoyed the play equipment and getting a gelato in the cafe by the pond.

It is worth a visit with a picnic or just a stroll. The sculptures are a great touch and there is a cafe in the centre for a coffee, beer or ice-cream

Honestly one of the nicest parks in a city I have ever been to in my life. So jealous the people of Slovenia have this on their doorstep. Just a 10 minute walk into the woods here and you would think you were deep in the country. We even saw red squirrels!
