We didn't enter the Town Hall building, but we passed it on the street several times and admired the stone exterior, with arches at the bottom and a clock tower on top. There's a balcony on the front, and at one point (I think it was at noon?) there were some musicians on it dressed in a traditional type of costume and playing trumpets (?) for a little concert. It was a fun area to visit.

It looked ok as building from the outside and didn't have much substance really other than that. There is a nice frieze featuring dragons in one internal room and some artworks as well.
The building is built in the baroque style for the clock tower and gothic styling for the rest, a bit of a mix.
It wasn't high on my list to see and may not be on yours as well due to its lack of any real substance. Not one of my favourite places in Ljubljana.

The City Hall, also known as the Magistrate or Rotovž, today the seat of the City of Ljubljana, was built in the late 15th century. The builder was Peter Bezla.

The town hall is accordingly set in a lovely little square, with fountain and views, and is well worth a moment to come see...

Nice and quite big building located in front of the small cobbled square.
A fitting place for a town's administration.

The walk up to Town Hall from old town and across the bridge was really neat and seeing it at the end, really nice. A must see while in Ljubljana.

The first floor is open to the public and worth exploring. It's a handsome building with an open courtyard in the back and wonderful detail in the architecture.

The town hall has a really beautiful, but small, clock tower that is well worth pausing to view from the street. There is also a fountain right outside and more than once, I saw locals performing just outside the steps. inside is a small art gallery that is free to visit.
