Interesting building from the late 15th century with old Renaissance courtyard with frescoes. Check also the exhibitions (there are several spaces for them)! In the July 2016 there were very informative exhibition depicting how the big part of Ljubljana has been transformed into a car-free zone during the last years.

If you take a walking tour of the city you will probably meet on the steps. First stop is in the courtyard where you will see the statues and wall paintings depicting the history of the city. There is a painting of the plan of the city in, I think, the 17th century and coats of arms of the city... More

Historical value, showcases city beautifully, centrally located, and easy to get to. Need a guide who can explain the interior and city accolades.

If you decide to join the free walking tour of Ljubljana, you'll visit this site. If you don't, you can see the outside of the building from restaurant Gujzina or see if as wander the streets of Ljubljana.

The City HAll is in a 15.th century building. You can visit the ground floor, where you can admire some graffitti paintiongs on the walls, fountains and also some modern exhibitions.

On our tour, we were introduced to the Town Hall grounds; it was difficult to listen to the blah-blah talk when there were all these treasures to explore. Paintings, sculptures, and historic markers vie for attention. A personal favorite is the 17th century statue of Hercules in combat with a lion. Not to be missed is Francesco Robba's Narcissus Fountain... More

Building with best position in medieval city is Town hall. Baroque architecture (Carlo Martinuzzi and Gregor Maček) is standing out of the line between other old buildings. It is convenient to use steps for better view to the square and Robba’s fountain. You can enter to the hall and ground floor is free for visitors. It is decorated with some... More

This old building is very nice and interesting itself, but it usually houses some interesting temporary exibitions, mostly free of charge. The inner courtyard is fine too. Go inside, you might find something you like. Last time it hosted couple of exibitions including very interesting ceramics display.
